I just got an offer from the RIv and the $20pn Su-Th seems very competitive to me especially since there 's no resort fees.Of course there are restrictions and blackouts. Good luck

Honestly, I'm shocked that place is still open. I was actually planning on heading in there for a short time this trip just because I doubt it will be around too much longer and I may not get another chance to check it out (walked by and peaked in a few times over the years and it just seems dead all the time).

Yes things are slow there haven't stay there since the spring of 11. The rooms in the Monaco Tower are quite nice and the pool is of decent size. Hope they continue on.

    that`s a good deal.

wife and I stayed at riviera in monaco tower last september and the whole experience was great.

room was spotless, comedy club is one of the best, drink service was

awesome and if you have a car it is steps from the parking to the elevators

    to the room.

even without a car it is maybe a ten minute walk to centre strip .

the pool area is really nice and even has real grass.

Hope the riviera doesn't close. One of my favorite places in vegas. Staying there on thursday. For some reason I like the laid back atmosphere. I got the same offer and plan to use it for my july 23rd trip

I agree the laid back vibe is nice.

even though it is kind of a dump now slots a fun is right across the street and the drink service there is great also.

I also read that The STRAT has a real nice pool area open to anyone and a good poolside cafe`

hope to check those things out in july.

Just wait until they build the Asian place on top of echelon the Riv and circus circus will be hopping again. They'll be the cheap places to stay to be close to the new place. Add SLS coming online next year then they'll have to do something with fountainblue. The north strip will rise again....

I'm seeing a $15 resort fee on the website.

1 Night Room & Tax will be charged at the time of booking Resort fee of $15.00 per day will be collected at check in ($13.39 + $1.61 tax)The Riviera requires a $100 per stay deposit for any regular room and $100 per day for Suites in addition to the room rate, daily resort charges & applicable taxes. The hold will be released 3-10 business days after departure depending on the credit card issuers processing speed If a debit card is used as method of payment your primary account will be charged the full amount and the funds will not be available to you through your debit for up to 3-10 business days. The Riviera is not responsible for overdrafts/fees associated with your credit/debit card. The Riviera makes every effort to fulfill each request, however preferences cannot be guaranteed.

And what is this promo code? I might need to take advantage of this deal if there really is no resort fee.:ssst:

Lets hope the North end of the strip rises again. Man, they've had so much bad luck and poor planning the last decade or so they're due for the karma wheel to come around. That end of the strip used to be a lot of fun.:peace:

Yes, stayed there in late Sept. '11, Monaco tower. It was fine, room was clean, close to the convention center. I was surprised how much meeting room space they have towards the rear. I hope this place can hang on.
