Just out of curiosity has anyone gotten a room at the Fremont as a walk in? It seems like every time we are downtown our fun gets cut short worrying about catching the last bus back to the strip.

The thing is that we tend to fly by the seat of our pants and don't want to have to plan a trip downtown, we would rather just go when we feel like it.

Thanks for any info you all can give us.

I've witnessed people walk up at MSS and do it, so if Fremont isn't sold out, I don't see why not.

I have no clue what the pricing would be. If it's the same as shown online, or if you are paying a premium?

If you happen to be playing the tables, ask the pit. Sometimes they have casino rooms that aren't available to walk up customers. The pit will call the front desk for you. I've done this a few times and the price has been free or casino rate.

I am no bus expert, however I thought the Deuce runs 24/7 between Fremont and the Strip? The other buses are done around 1230am.... I think. Double check the schedule or ask one of the bus experts, but I don't think you have to worry about a last bus.

Well I'll be damned it does! WTF have we been thinking?

That really uncomplicates things big time. We do a ton of VP at the Fremont but little table play so I doubt we would get a comp. I do get free nights offers every so often though. We might just try it anyway just to see what happens.

AhHa........just looked at the SDX schedule and that is where we went wrong. Well I guess I learned my daily something new!

    Thanks everyone!

To the original question: you should get the Hotel Tonight app. It's specifically for last minute hotel bookings and always has rooms in Vegas. You can't book till after noon and can book for that night. I always see great rates for same night deals in Vegas. It has lots of other major cities to.

SDX doesn't run for a short period late at night, but the deuce does some of the downtown stops in its place. Most of the rtc runs 247, the trip planner on their site. MSS is way more fun than the strip though.

If you "do a ton of VP at the Fremont", you might very well get a comped room, regardless of whether you give them any action on the tables at all. I stick pretty much to the tables, but a lot of VP players I know get way better comps than I do! Can't hurt to ask - the worst that can happen is they say no.

Yes you can do walk up check ins at Fremont. I had a plane with mechanical difficulties which grounded the plane for a few hours and my friend that worked for the airlines rebooked me for the next day. I showed up at the front desk and used the b connected app on my phone and got the saphire rate which was picked up by the front desk computer instantly.
