I am hoping members of this board can help me. I handle the social media for a limo/shuttle/cab company, here in Las Vegas. I post information that I feel would be helpful, but I live here.

I was wondering what kind of information/insights the average traveler would find helpful?

I am hoping you guys can help. I would really appreciate your input.

I really want to make to my social media channels a helpful source of information.

Thank you for your help! :nworthy:

how to avoid getting "tunneled". Post statements that the average traveler can tell the driver to get the lowest cost fare to their destination.

Prices are always on my mind. Prices to the strip, downtown, other tours. Per person prices. Group prices.

To be honest, the only time I pay attention to Vegas-related social media outlets is really when I am actually in town and those outlets either post events they are promoting while I'm there or specials. Otherwise, I don't pay attention to them on Twitter or Facebook because they are usually pretty useless (I'm thinking especially of something like the Casino Royale Twitter or any of the major casinos' Facebook pages, which are largely just photos of the pools or of big wins). If your company were to offer discount codes or other promotions via social media, then I might pay attention while I'm there, and even seek out your services if the price was right.

I'm thinking maybe an "economies of scale" presentation would be helpful. I normally go to Vegas by myself, and often take a shuttle, because I'm not in a hurry, and I'd rather avoid the tunnel conversation with a cab. I often see, however, groups of three or more (even a family of five last trip) taking the shuttle, and thinking they would be better off in a cab/ limo.

If you think about car rental websites with graphical representations of what each car is suited to (like a picture of four stickmen and three suitcases in a full sized car) and flavour it with a second metric for the "Las Vegas Experience", say upselling the limo, you might help people make a decision that provides them with a better experience.

I am not sure I understand the goal of your inquiry.
Are you asking us in regards to your industry (transportation) or Las Vegas general questions/information?
