MGM used to be my home base.. My last 4 trips have been there and i am just so burnt out that i hope i never stay there again.. Between the service sucking and all of the construction i am fine with not going back..The bar tenders at the VP bartops have been rude the last few times i have been there and the pit bosses havent been real nice either.. Add in the fact that its on the Ghetto south east side of the strip doesnt help things.. I think that the area of the M&M store is easily the worst part of the strip.. Im tired of seeing the fat black guy in the bikini and all the people dressed as cartoon characters..I know they are all on the strip but that is the worst spot.. Rant over.. Where are you burnt out on?

MGM used to be my home base in LV.

When I turned 40, the demographics of the hotel dictated that I move on.

I still think it is a great hotel.

It is possible to get sick of anything even if it is good.

Vegas Club and Luxor for me. Stayed at both once. Was too much for me.

I used to stay at the South end of the Strip from mid 90's to early 2000's. I primarily chose Monte Carlo as my home with sprinkles of MGM, NYNY, and La Quinta Inn (used to be in between NYNY and Monte Carlo along with Carrow's).
From the mid 2000's, i've been with CET mostly at Bally's with Planet Hollywood and Paris mixed in.
I still go to those Hotels but choose to gamble and stay at mid strip.

Luxor, stayed once, never again. Rude staff, weird hotel and horrible rooms in the pyramid. It is just a strange place.

The places on the strip have really let me down. I've moved exclusively to downtown, occasionally I'll go off strip if the offer is right.

Consider Golden Nugget? It's a awesome resort with a much friendlier vibe.

I burned out on CityCenter. It was SO cool, but I feel like every trip since it opened included a trip there, now I'm a little bored with it, Aria in particular. I'd still love to stay there someday, but I don't feel the need to visit every trip anymore. In face I haven't been over there since probably middle of last year. (I've been 3 or 4 times to Vegas since)

A little burned out on PH too. It happened to be the most reasonable hotel for me the past 2 years. So 3 of my trips were there. I guess it's not as great as I want it to be. If that makes sense.

I'm going to try to make it a goal to stay some place I have not this year! Mirage, Wynn or Cosmo in particular!

What year was this? I never had any Staff problems with Luxor. Other than a few young immature guys running the Spa it was fine.
Luxor was my home base 5X in a row from 2006-2007. I really liked it and the renovations didn't bother me because I liked the mod look.
But that's also when the vibe vanished from their casino. Since then I've cruised the Strip looking for a new home and for now it's Wynn.
There's still a handful of places I would like to stay in at least once just to say been there done that. And there are some I'd never stay in.

PH for me. I miss the days when it was the Alaadin. Last few visits have been at Venetian or MGM properties.

While we love Mandalay/THEHotel the changes we saw beginning with LIGHT group taking charge of some things may drive us to Bellagio next trip. The potential for them making it a South Strip version of Cosmo was showing already with LIGHT/Daylight/Eclipse opening the week of our last trip. Light is a fantastic club, one of a kind to be honest with the Cirque influence, but with it came a larger DB group than we have ever seen before there. Security was at an all time high and stress level for security as well the opening night of LIGHT, far worse than even the UFC fan Expos which are huge draws. Though our comps are far better at MB than Bellagio they are not worth the potential changes we saw.

Monte Carlo & Paris. I find both casinos boring, and Paris has to have the most uncomfortable chairs on the floor of any casino I have ever been in!

I am hooked on Palazzo & Main Street Station now. Just a wee bit of contrast

I got burned out on the Strip in general and haven't stayed on it in well over 10 years.

Just as a data point - I saw two guys shouting and almost start brawling in the walkway of Bellagio's casino, semi-close to Hyde, when I was playing blackjack. I'd never seen anything like that at Mandalay in my 4 trips there, though I haven't been there after LIGHT opened, so you're probably right.

Perhaps its the club music "oontz, oontz, oontz".

I've been to Vegas 7 times (8th coming this fall) and have only stayed at the same place twice, and not in a row. It depends on what we're in the mood for and how much money we feel like spending. We will be staying at Paris for the second time. Because we got a good rate. I would have stayed at Harrahs for almost nothing, but the wife wouldn't have that.

Harrah's for me. I stayed there 4 times in a row cause it was cheap and the group I was with played there mostly too. I had 1 trip where I didn't leave Harrah's. I'm over it.

Don't like Excalibur, Luxor, Tropicana and Hooters. Even the remodeled Tropicana doesn't seem cool.

I used to like the vegas hilton a lot. Now it's LVH and not a fan. Doesn't have the same feel that hilton had when I first came to vegas in 2007. Won't be back.

I have had numerous "home base" casino's over the years. Nothing really has to be wrong with a casino, but I just want to try new places after awhile of staying at one place. For years, I only stayed on the Strip. For a few years it was Rio, then MGM, then Aria, etc. A few years ago, I moved downtown and have stayed at the Plaza exclusively. This trip I think I am going to stay on the strip. With offers from Caesars, TI, V/P, I just have to decide which place...

When I first started going regularly the best strip deal for us was the Flamingo. After that we started getting casino rates And then comped at CET hotels. It was good marketing. But now I'm sick of the Flamingo, Harrahs, Caesars and PHO. And while I've never stayed there I really dislike Paris.
Most overrated Buffet and the fake French spoken is annoying and not pronounced correctly.
