Hi Everyone. We are Harrah's people and get our rooms comped. I love Paris and that is where we usually stay. My husband wants to stay at Caesar's. I think it is too big. Any thoughts? Also which tower at Caesar's is the best? Thanks everyone. Good Luck to all!

I too am in the club that believes Caesars is too big. I have stayed slept in the Augustus Tower, usually its one of the best parts. All very new and modern, loved the room

I didnt like the forever walk to get to the strip, and I didnt like that everything on the property is top dollar. Deals on food and beverage are few and far between. I didnt like paying $3 more for the same cup of coffee I could get at Flamingo or Harrah's. I also thought the crowd was older and more mature than I prefer.

I also am in the PAris camp----it has everything and is compact. CP is just too big

Another vote for Paris. The meandering, maze-like layout of the Caesars casino is a deal breaker for us. We usually have stayed at Paris, but we are trying PH in July, hoping to get a better casino vibe, something that Paris is often lacking.

Neither. I'd rather pay for a room than stay at either.

I used to feel the same way. The first 13 times I went to Vegas I stayed at the Flamingo because it took me 3 nights to find my way around and didn't want to go through that again. Then my hubby convinced me to try Caesars after looking at a friend's room so we did and now I love it.

I dedicated some time my first night there finding my way around the casino and now I don't have any problem at all. It's really just one big circle and once you figure out you can get from one part of the casino to the other by walking down the Appian Way hallway it gets a whole lot easier.

Paris has it's charms but you just cannot beat the room experience at CP. And even though it is big, I enjoy the casino more at CP more. When I am not feeling one side, I have the option of walking over to the other. At Paris, you are dealing with snoozy and you are connected to Bally's which can be even snoozier. I love all three but there is a reason CP is #1. It's worth trying once.

I couldnt agree more. Yes, it is big, but the biggest obstacle is the maze like layout. I am also a Paris person that will be staying at PH in July for the better casino vibe. I cant wait....

    Try Caesars!

As long as you get get Palace Tower or better (but don't be afraid to book Forum Tower--they very often offer free or inexpensive upgrades) you will have a fabulous room.
Paris std rooms are not even as nice as Ballys north tower or Harrahs rooms (think grandma's extra bedroom full of florals, a bit tired)...and Paris is quite stingy with upgrades also.
Our Palace Tower room was actually nicer than our Wynn room...with a much better location!

To me it depends on how close you want to be to the strip and if you want to spend time hiking or gambling...for that reason, I prefer Paris!

Let's see.........MGM is too big, Luxor casino look's like a dungeon, Planet Hollywood has too much of a young vibe, Bally's is stuck in the 80's, Paris looks like my Grandma's doilies, Mandalay Bay is too far away from the Strip, Venetian is owned by a right wing zealot, TI hasn't been Jack Sparrow's hangout since the late 90's, Wynn and Trump are too egotistical, the Sahara and Riviera are now Downtown, Bellagio is too stuffy, City Center is, er, what is City Center again?, Monte Carlo is "half" what it once was, the Excalibur and Circus Circus are for kiddies even though their moms and dad's are gambling with their future, NYNY has rooms small enough to be just like the real New York, albeit a billion dollars cheaper, BREAKING NEWS!!.....the Mirage no longer has Siegfried & Roy, Tropicana is for old people, Flamingo has Donnie & Marie plastered on the walls, Harrah's hasn't remodeled the rooms since Showboat, Bills has gone from a saloon to a boutique, Caesars is too confusing, and the Imperial Palace aka The Quad, will have a view of the Strip from behind 3 hotels with a walkway from Las Vegas Blvd. that requires you to walk single file.
    HAVE FUN EVERYBODY........:licklips:

    Tough choice

I stayed at both, last oct in a nice suite at paris and this may
In a king deluxe room in caesars augustus tower( same as a suite)
The view ( on fountains) in caesars room was fabulous
Paris suite had fridge( and no minibar as in caesars room)
Paris had 2 bathrooms casars 1 but both had shower and yacuzzi so no diff there
Normally the caesars room would be a bit more exp but it didnt matter
As i played stupid slots i was comped anyway
Spa in caesars is far better and fab ( even with artic room where it snows) but u pay for that as diamond paris spa was free and in caesars it costed me 20$( normally 45)
Caesars is a bit more classy and has a pokerroom(paris hasnt but thats no problem as it is close to ballys and ph)
So for me its a neck/ neck race whatever u decide u can not really go wrong
Oh yeah the diamond lounge at caesars is much nicer
Location paris is maybe a bit better
    Good luck

I've stayed in both this year. I used to get lost in Caesars but now I found me way around and I do like Caesars. It depends on what you're looking for. Rooms at Caesars are nice except for what everyone else has already said, the Roman Tower. I've never stayed in any room in Paris except Premium Red with View or a suite. The most recent stay at Caesars was Augustus with fountain view room and that is a better room than the premium at Paris, but it has noreal refrigerator because it has the minibar as stated above.
Restaurants are a bit pricier at Caesars, though I like pretty much like all of them, though I haven't eaten at NOBU nor Guy Savoy. I've eaten at all the Paris restaurants and they're all decent.

Last year, I bought Roman Tower room and was upgraded to the newest Octavius Tower. The room was great, top notch quality for the very small amount I paid. The walk is a bit long, but overall, CP is great in terms of its casino, pool, and rooms.

Only downside was food, even if you wanted to pay, the options were not that great. However, with the opening of the new buffet, I'm sure food is great now too.

Also, I really like to play at Mirage and Bellagio, and CP is next door to both properties.

Paris looks too old and too boring to me.

    Caesar's

I have stayed at both many times and prefer Caesar's. Rooms are much nicer, that spa is one the best in Vegas and there's a great choice in restaurants. Despite what some have said, there are some good lower-cost restaurants including the gorgeous new buffet, Munchbar and their food court.

Waverunner, you totally nailed it. My only thought is, if that's the best(or worst) you can come up with for Mirage, it's funny. Who cares about S&R anyway, lol. I'm glad I saw them, but.....

In regards to Caesars or Paris, I would choose Paris, although we really didn't like either. Caesars is a weird layout, not bad when you figure it out, but still. Paris is quaint, but too quiet for us. We stayed at Caesars four years ago and the cocktail service was awful, the machine selection wasn't too good, and it was a major hike to our room. I also found only one good VP bar that allowed smoking and there was never a seat. But I'm sure things have changed since we stayed there. Our last trip we stayed at Paris and won't be back. We just keep coming back to Ballys when we stay with CET properties. We used to solely stay at CET properties. The last couple of years, we started switching things up and would book a night or two at Mirage, which we used to only stay at. Now that we are back on their radar, and get two or three nights free with them, I'm willing to pay for an extra night and not do CET altogether. I will, however, still frequent Sully"s. :nworthy:

I dont think I would stay at Paris unless I had the Red room upgrade and even then the upcharge ends up getting to be so much that you may as well stay at Caesars for the better atmosphere, pool etc. I enjoy walking through Paris and Bally's .. but that is it, the properties are just snoozier like another mentioned.
