A hundred thousand dollars in damage to a single suite? To quote Ron Burgundy, "Heck, I'm not even mad; that's amazing."

Sounds to me like he did this intentionally for some sort of fame.

I bet he is somehow angling to make a buck.

i wonder how he got to stay at that suite in the first place. he must have some connections of be known by the casino already.

Lawyer trashes Encore Suite "Hangover Style", sued by Wynn

    Link

Robert Pearman, 45, a Los Angeles lawyer specializing in workers compensation, was charged with malicious destruction of property following the March 30 incident at the Encore’s three-bedroom, two-story, 5,829-square-foot duplex apartment....Encore staff projected the damage at $96,270.61, including labor and expenses.

When officers spoke to Pearman, the registered guest, the lawyer apparently admitted the incident. “I take full responsibility for what happened here. We were partying,” Pearman told police. “I did all of this. I am responsible for all these people. Let my people go.”

Of course, he is now trying to get out of paying for any of the damages. :rolleyes2:

Looks like the lawyer forgot the golden rule himself.

Keep your mouth shut and ask for a lawyer.

    Exactly.

Sadly, even those in the know can not keep their mouth shut.

Or in this case, maybe some of the others needed to kept out the papers, news, etc.

Regardless of the specifics, the guy is 45-years old. It's [STRIKE]a bit[/STRIKE] pathetic. Even when I was in my 20's getting absolutely wasted I wasn't dumb enough to think trashing a place was cool. Sure, we broke the odd lamp here and there but I'd love to know how this bloke manages to tie his shoelaces, never mind pass the bar exam.

Oh Judge, I'm so sorry. I need to go to rehab. Can I get the same deal you gave Lindsay Lohan?

a couple years ago they had a few one off nights for $1,250 ($1,400 w/tax), I had booked one for a night but never ended up making the trip. MikeE did get in on that deal, I think a couple days before xmas and got some of the best YouTube footage out there, it was used in the ABC LA story.

As for 45 yr olds acting pathetically drunk, well, I guess I see the side where people might think that type of behavior is a bit ridiculous, but then again it is VEGAS, isn't being able to totally let lose kind of the point?

I would never damage property like that in my drunken stupor, oh maybe a little, lol.

I think this story and behavior is consistent with the fun image of unbridled fun that Vegas is all about. Wynn should collect the $100,000 in damages and then comp the guy for all the free advertising and shattering their image as a boring snooty hoity toity location.:peace::beer::peace:

Hmmmm.....I do agree to a point but I guess but when it gets to where someone is destroying someone elses property, in my book that crosses the line. :rolleyes2: There is too much disrespect overall for other people and other peoples property in todays world...even if it is Vegas. And now he's trying to weasel out of paying the damages. I'm betting that Steve has the last laugh in this debacle.:peace:

I wonder how he will handle the professionalism part of this. If proven guilty, this may cause him his career. In my field of work, situation like this can get you cited for substance abuse on top of possible civil case. This can lead to your professional license being suspended or revoked. $100k may not be worth his career...

He was probably still under the influence of several drugs when he was questioned.

Explains the damage and his comments.
