I am going for 4 nights next month and ust thought about spending1 night at GN(the rest on strip). If I get the Landry's card, is the $25 Restaurant credit good at ALL the places there or just a few? The $25 would be the "enrollment fee" plus its also my birth month!

I am certain it works at Chart House and Vic And Anthony's. I believe it will also work at Grotto and Red Sushi, but others should confirm. Good usage of the card during your birthday month. Book your room via the Golden Nugget directly and get use of the VIP checkin (make sure you tell them you're a member.)

Googled around. This is all of the Landry Restaurants in Las Vegas. I did not know that there was a Bubba Bump's there. It must be new. Wonder if its any good, especially on non seafood items?

Has anyone had luck using the VIP checkin while booking on Expedia, etc? Saving about $60 through them, but have card and would like to use VIP checkin on Friday night arrival. Thanks

    VIP Check-in

    Can't hurt to try.

We're Landry's members, so we tried it last November. But having booked through a third-party site it was a no-go. They looked at a list and said we weren't on it. No hardship, since there wasn't a line at the main check-in and it's right across from the VIP check-in.

Just got back from staying at the GN and had the Landry's card with the $25 on it. Was told by the cashier at the Carson Street Cafe that we couldn't redeem it there as it is not a "Landry's restaurant" so ended up using it for pizza at the Grotto (BTW it was awesome!!). The qualifying restaurants are listed on the back of the card.
    Enjoy!

The Landry's Card is pretty good. It costs $25 up front, but they give you a $25 credit on Landry restaurants (I used mine at the Chart House). It's worth it on VIP Check-In. The lines to check in can be pretty long on the regular lines.

Can you combine the $25 on the card with the $25 B-day gift and use all $50 at one time?

That should not be a problem.

All of your credits just get added to your card balace so they are all cumulative. Yes, you can use any credits, bday points, or earned amounts together.

Where is VIP check in, and if I am using valet parking where would be the best spot to go? I believe there are two options.

It is behind you, as you are facing the check-in counter for the normal check-in. Just across from the restaurant "Vic & Anthony's". It is a pretty non-descript door that you go in, but, as I say, it is just across the hall from V&A's and before you get to the Gold Tower room elevators. It's small, but quiet. Usually two people working the counter. Good luck. Tell me if I gave decent directions. I should say, you have to open the door and go in. It is not like airports, or other casino/hotels I have seen, where there is just a separate line for VIP check-in. It's in a room ALL TO ITSELF!

As for location from Valet (main tower) just go in the front doors and it is down the hall to your right, on the left side, across from V&As.

Thank you! As long as you have the Landry's card do you qualify for the VIP check in? Or is that subject to being booked under the "Landry"/Full price rate also.

I know the upgrade is pending a non-discounted rate/availability, but what about the VIP check in.

I am arriving at around 10pm on a Friday night, I get the feeling it may not even be worth it. You do get some line passes though right?

I believe, as far as qualifying, it states on their Landry's Select website that you must book directly through the hotel (i.e. paying a bit more in hotel rate.)

I have yet to receive that upgrade (hoping I see it in Aug.) but you must be booking directly through the hotel for that, as well. Make sure to tell them when you are booking that you are a Landry's Select member. That is not to say that some people ask for, and receive an upgrade as a "normal" hotel guest.

If I am not mistaken, the VIP lounge closes in the early evening. Probably before your arrival. Anyone else confirm that?

That VIP check in was big deal at all. I spent the same amount of time as anyone else in the regular line, in fact the guy was kinda of an uptight ****** checking us in so in retrospect the nice visuals of the Aquarium in the regular line would've been better.
