In what design hell is the spade symbol an appropriate graphical substitution for the letter R?

I wonder how the competitor tier level matching will work? I've never played or been to the plaza, but maybe this will change....

That's a mighty big jump between red level and black level. I assume its $1 = 1 tier credit. I can't see a new players club that doesn't offer anything new/more than most getting peoe to play there. The place has zero energy compared to Golden Gate, The D, And Golden Nugget.

Comp pool access, daybed rental, parking, fitness club, and VIP hotel registration

Those are just a few things that jump out at me. Not that I will ever make KING....

Wow! If I cycle $100k through the machines at the Plaza I can get 30% off rooms? That's like $9 off per night! $12 if it includes the resort fee...

    Also jumped out at me...

"Valid only on cash transactions booked directly through the property"

When talking about room upgrades and discounts. Weird. I wonder if they get a lot of cash paying customers?

I already get MORE than the top tier in this program at The Plaza. Mini suite, RFB, UFC fight tickets, free everything I ask for basically. I play mostly table games there but also quite a bit of $1 DDB video poker. I think if you are in the top tier you wont be paying for anything.

I think they might. I know I've been behind some at check-in that were having issues with the room deposit (no card to authorize).

If you had the card before, will they upgrade your card with Gold Mlife status?? Also the 100% bonus on royals for the top level card, could be very valuable. All this sounds great, but the Circus Circus top card includes airport limo, etc.

Though you do get a rccl cruise each year.

The Plaza has decided to allow all members, even existing members the tier upgrade, as a one time offering. The status is good through January 1, 2014 and to kept the status the required points need to be made.

Sam, I am thinking of seeding the Plaza this trip. I am a Sapphire at Boyd.
I was planning on hitting the 9/6 JOB. I was going to do this before the change in club because I thought it was a decent play. I would like your opinion on the Plaza and my idea.

And while your at it. I'll be there at the end of July. You think I should go to the players club and trade up (I'm a CET diamond)? What's the new equivalent level? King? And then go and check in and hope for a jr suite upgrade? I did book directly and for cash at 29.99 a night.

I am a current member of plaza slot club, but haven't seen any action in that building in two years. The post above says they will honor existing member tier upgrades.

If their program is $1 per point then CET diamond would be closer to their tip tier. It now takes $75,000 in coin in to get diamond (assuming no tier score bonuses)

    $20,000 bonus

Today on Facebook the Plaza posted that a guest playing $5 VP got a Royal Flush and because he was an "Ace" under the new rewards system his $20,000 win became $40,000

    Nice.

I believe he won $20,000 and was additionally given $20,000 in free slot play
(100% ACE BONUS for Royal Flush). Still pretty sweet.
