What to do on July 4th?

I am going to be in Vegas on the 4th with my wife and another couple celebrating my 60th. I am looking for a fun evening. Dinner and a show? Fireworks? All of the above? At the moment, I'm booked at Caesars, but that could change. Not a fan of Cirque shows. Seen the Beatles, Blue Man, and Jersey Boys. I was considering Terry Fator and maybe Stack before. Loved him on AGT, but don't know if a whole show is good. Dinner and late Absinthe could be possible too. We saw it last time and loved it. Friends haven't seen it.

Any ideas? I didn't know if I should post this under shows or restaurants.

 

I went several years ago. I don't recall anything special going on. I don't see any fireworks info yet? Maybe it's too early.

I love Carrott Top and Donnie & Marie, favorite shows of mine, my mom's and my dad's we all enjoyed them both.

 

I saw Terry Fator in March and wasn't impressed. I got discounted tickets and was glad that I didn't pay full price. I was disappointed that I paid 40% off come to think of it. I just didn't like the show.

 

You may have hit the jackpot. I read elsewhere in here that Caesars is having fireworks on the 4th.

 

Caesars Palace I am told is doing the fireworks on the 4th from the roof of the Roman tower. For your planning consideration 9-915pm.I was told that last year when I booked only to learn they would set them off on the following Saturday. Station Casinos all set off fireworks on the 4th regardless of what day a week it might land on. I enjoyed the show at Texas Station last year. Freemont Street typically has BBQ out front at several casinos on Freemont Street during the day. FSE Usually has at least one big name music act. Don’t look for a lot of information about activities/specials more than a couple of weeks out you just can’t find it. Prim aka state line has fireworks on the 4th also. Several community fireworks events occur within Las Vegas and surrounding communities in a park setting wit food vendors etc. One tip for watching fireworks on the strip it gets crowded and prime locations to view it becomes scarce the closer it get to the time of the event. Couple years ago I remember all foot traffic and cars all stopped during the show. I go every 4th of July and have a lot of fun. Enjoy !

 

This year the band on Fremont for the 4th is Three Days Grace.

 

Remember though that if you are on the Strip you need to get up high or a ways down to even be able to see the fireworks aroudn the buildigns they shoot off from. Let's of deals last time we were there on drinks and more on the 4th. Be prepared to walk nowhere fast until later that night however if you are out ont he Strip.
