I am coming to the States with my wife and 4 children for the month of August and planning on spending 10 nights in Vegas. My intention is to stay at Mandalay for the first 4 nights and then move to the Mirage. I have already contacted a host at the Mirage and she has comped a 2 bed suite.

My question is should I contact a host at Mandalay to see what they can do or is it a no go as both properties are MGM. I am primarily a blackjack player with a USD500 average.

At $500 average per hand, you will get your room comped at MB. See a host. They will most likely give you a suite with F&B.

Even if they won't do the back to back stays, contact a host at MB and get on the radar. If you bet like that, you can always get it comped on the back end.

Other posts are correct. As long as you are putting in a few hours a day, $500 a hand will get you a suite at the top of MB

Sometimes, getting comped rooms at one MGM hotel, and then another right after that is difficult.

At your level, you will probably get it okay. CALL A HOST AND CONFIRM.

I've gotten comped at two MGM resorts hotels on the same trip before, we were at one 3 days and the other (as friends were staying there) for 3 nights. We are slot players, and our play would work out much less than yours would. It's the RFL that wasn't extended to both, only the first and they reviewed our play at the second hotel and removed charges then.
