I got this from my host at the Palms and I thought this would be interesting to some of you that play big. As villas in Vegas go, with some requiring $50K/hand and $1M credit lines, the Palms villas are actually a pretty good value. They are bigger than most villas you will find on the strip (6,000 sq ft for the one story, 9,000 for the two story), and each has a 24 person glass enclosed spa jutting out over the side which is pretty remarkable.

$100k credit line or front money is required for all the villas except the Hef villa which is $200K. Betting requirements:

    1 story villa: 2500 avg bet 4 hrs/day
    2 story villa: 3000 avg bet 4 hrs/day
    Hef Villa: 4000 avg bet 4 hours/day
    Hardwood suite: 3000 4 hours/day
(hardwood suite is 10K sq feet, but is on the 3rd floor with no view - it does, however, have its own basketball court)

Considering that $100K at Bellagio only gets you a 2,000 sq ft Lake View suite, and at Wynn it barely gets you a salon suite (basically the equivalent of a $800/night penthouse at Aria), for those of you that play in this range you should check out the Palms. The rental rate on these rooms start at $10K and go up to $40K, but you can gamble for them for much less in terms of theoretical loss.

Is that room comp only or RFB?

That's room comp only, but to go RFB isn't very much higher. Also, they will do discounts on your loss, at $100K they'll do 10% discount on your losses in addition to the villa.

Interesting. I still doubt I would go off the strip even for a huge villa but good to know about it. With 100k line and only about 2500 avg you can get a 4000 sq ft 2br mansion villa at RFB. I'd still pick that i think even though the views and outdoor patio /spa on those villas is probably pretty sick.

I had always said the same thing about going off strip, but I'm telling you the Palms sky villas are really amazing. I have stayed in a 2 bedroom in the mansion but really given the choice I would go back to the sky villas (I am biased because I have no luck at the MGM either). Here are some random, very amateur pics from my recent first time trip to them. I didn't actually meet the $100K requirement because I have never taken the Palms that seriously, but they sent me an offer for 2 nights in one, so I had to do it. BTW you are right, the view is incredible.

Here are a few more interior shots. Keep in mind that this is only the 6,000 sq ft one story, the two story is 50% larger.

This seat faces the patio/jacuzzi. The wall behind it is actually a waterfall. Water flows down below the plexiglass on the floor (which you can walk on), where there are lights (I didn't turn on the lights for this picture, it was daytime). Still, it's pretty cool:

Those suites are bad ass, no doubt about that. I'd consider leaving the strip but I don't have that type of play. I'm shocked they even go for that much, the last few times I have ventured to palms the last two years it has been Dead.

Sme friends of mine had a couple nice suites at palms place last year. No sky villa

Interesting data and those are some sweet digs!

I would consider upping my game just for those (not). Only drawback is having to be offstrip and risk being mistaken for an MTV reality show contestant.

The one story villas are 2 bedrooms, and the two story villas are 3 bedrooms. However both models have another room that connects through a private foyer that is also available (I was told you can get the extra room without additional play - it's basically just if you need it, since they don't let others book the extra room when the villa is occupied anyway). So the one story is expandable up to three bedrooms, and the two story is expandable up to four bedrooms.

    Many thanks....

If I ever get to the point of blowing so much cash, I'm absolutely staying there. I stayed in a one bedroom suite in Palms Place that delivered a low roller such as myself a truly, kingly, top o the world feeling.:nworthy:

    Wow very nice!

I stayed in the directors suite at The Palms and I thought it was the best suite ever but this is a whole new level. The views of the strip are awesome and its only about 3 minutes to the strip. With the renovations they are doing might be worth checking It out there again. Anyone who has never played there they have an awesome 1000 dollar free play for new players on either slots or blackjack.
