Been at both, and take no offense to the question, but how old are you?

Pho is younger more party-up attitude crowd
    Paris is more laid back

Pho is a strange circular layout
Paris is a smaller more triangular layout

Pho has an actual mall and more food options
Paris has probably better restaurants, but less options

    Pho has mall
    Paris doesn't

Hi Engicedave, me and my wife are both 37. we like to drink and party. I am more concerned about the level of the rooms. I have gotten used to caesers augustus tower as well as the cosmo and was trying to figure if i will be disappointed by either property in the room department.
    thanks

Well, I have also stayed at Cosmo and just got back from staying at the new NOBU Tower of Caesars

Cosmo is Cosmo, hard to compare, top notch.
Never stayed anyplace else in Caesars but Nobu

I think if you have a Red at Paris or a resort with a nice view, you should be fairly happy.

That said, I liked the Resort Vista Suite at Pho, and I think it would be hard to be unhappy with that

I have stayed at Palazzo every year, but had 4 days at PHo a couple years ago, and was more than happy with the place.

The rooms are very good, bathrooms are large with a big standalone tub and walk in shower. The only negative I would say is that they can be a little darnk, but that's no big deal anyway.

If you like to party it would be a no brainer for me, and I would be taking the Planet Hollywood offer without doubt.

I would go with Planet Hollywood: I prefer the dining and shopping choices over Paris (though the two are right next door to each other) but we mainly go to play slots and I think Paris has about the worst selection of slots, and hardly much of a selection of new slots, of any of the big resorts on The Strip.

I would take a guarantee of a red room at Paris over the basic resort room at PHO. I find those rooms feel like they have short ceilings. Now if i could get a Resort Vista especially strip view. I would take that over almost any room in Vegas. I love the strip view tub!

Plus Paris has Bally's attached and PHO is like a 3 minute walk.

I like Planet Hollywood over Paris rooms...Paris rooms seem dated to me and Planet Hollywoods rooms carry the Hollywood theme which was pretty cool.

PHo is definitely a much bigger party place than Paris...much much bigger party place

    I can help you here:

Stayed in Caesar's Augustus Tower in January and loved it! I really enjoyed the fact that they had free fresh coffee for you every morning downstairs at the Augustus check-in area.

Then, in April I stayed in a Paris Red Room Luxury on the 27th floor. Fountain view, nice room, free coffee included, not quite as nice as Augustus, but still better than PHo resort room (non-suite). The Premier rooms at Paris are nice, usually on the ends of the hallway with windows on 2 sides of the room and your own locked private hallway that you share with the room next door. So no running kids outside your door or drunken loud hipsters while you sleep. But, unless they updated them since last year, the blue Premier rooms have a tiny old skool tube television and no free coffee (unless you are Diamond or 7 stars).

Iv'e stayed at PHo as well and like the rooms. But i'm nearing retirement and enjoy the more relaxed atmosphere at Paris. As mentioned, Paris has an indoor walkway to Bally's where I play my favorite $10 double-deck Black Jack every evening.

Both are great in different ways. As noted, PHo attracts a younger, more party-prone crowd. Paris has a more sedate ambiance.

I have stayed in Paris Red rooms my last two trips, and a PH Resort Room the trip before that. I like the Red Rooms better, but the vibe in the PH casino is much better. I like the food options better at PH (BurGR, Earl of Sandwich, and Planet Dailies), but Paris has some decent food options with the buffet and the burger place.

I am trying to decide where to stay in July right now. I know the two places are about a 2 minute walk from each other, but I tend to play where I stay. Grrrrr......wish I could decide.....

Just depend what interests you. Paris is a much easier property to navigate, and get in an out. But PH has EVERYTHING.

I'd probably pick Paris just because it's easier.. It's really a close walk to go between the two.

FWIW, I don't like either casino. If I had to pick I'd say I like PH's better.

But Paris has STEAK and Mon Ami and Sugar Factory!

    More sedate ambiance?

I actually call it a dead casino with no vibe and absolutely no reason to play there.
    PH is a better choice.

If you want a party atmosphere, PH is definitely better than Paris.

It wasn't dead 10 days ago. I spent a week in Vegas and a lot of my time was at the dead, no vibe, and no reason to play at Paris. Paris and Planet Hollywood have different vibes.........both of which i enjoyed for the whole week. Perhaps it's because i'm mainly a solo traveler in Vegas, but i expect different vibes at different casinos when i walk into them. That's IMO the whole purpose. I consider the Flamingo casino more of a laid back older clientele vibe, but Margariaville casino in Flamingo is vibe...alistic!!......LOL.
