My wife signed up for the TR Visa Card and the card was sent to her last month. We are excited to use the Buffet of Buffets for two for signing up. My wife though is very worried that she lost some kind of slip that was in the envelope with the card giving more information about obtaining this. Has anyone redeemed their buffets yet? What kind of process did the Caesars properties follow? What did you need to provide?

I have the slip that came with the visa card. Nowhere does it say you need the slip. It say to redeem offer go to the total rewards center.

It is only good for 6 months from the month you received your visa.
I'm using mine in June. My strategy is to start at 7:30pm for dinner. then the next day I can use it for breakfast, lunch and dinner before 7:30 pm.

I'm pretty sure the 24 hrs. starts at the total rewards center when you activate the 24 hrs, so go eat right after the total rewards center activation. Can anyone confirm this?

The extra $100 TR will be nice too.
    Enjoy

I did it in April. I had the slip and they did ask for it. But i agree that i didnt think it was required. i just brought it to remind myself to use the deal. The problem we had was that our TR cards had to be reactivated at each buffet. every time we tried to use it I ended up having to show the receipt they gave me at th T R desk. Was a problem when my friend wasn't with me and tried to visit a buffet.

There is another thread below where someone emailed CET and was told that kiosks would be available to swipe your card and activate the pass I believe.

When are you going PokerFace? If it would put your wife's mind at ease I'll send you mine cause you're Jersey people  Just pm your address.

I'm not going till September and by then I'm sure everything will be straightened out and my buddy is Diamond anyway, they treat the buffet pass as a comped show ticket he can get.So no worries on my end.
I'm just thrilled to get to Platinum (Showed up on website fast after activating the card) so I can avoid the resort fees on any rooms I book for our week-long trip (NFL opening).

Well I hope we don't need it...we are looking forward to trying Bacchanal despite paying more for the privilege.

Thanks James for the offer...but unless you can send overnight it wouldn't help. We are not high rollers by any stretch so these extra perks really do help.

If you have an extra I could use it. We are locals. I can make good use of it.
    Either way Thanks

    Buffet of Buffets

We got the new Total Rewards visa which now gives us the Buffet of Buffets for free. Has anyone done this? If so, did you stick with one buffet for your 24 hrs or did you jump around trying various ones? How many times did you hit a buffet within that 24 hr period?

It's been talked about forever that yes, it says nothing on the slip yet sometimes they ask so I always tell people to take it. Better to take it and not need it.

Yes the card is for Americans only

The slip would do you no good unless you got it with the credit card; you have to show the card to get it & you can only get it once.

The 24 hours starts as soon as you activate it at a TR booth (PH opens at 8AM). We hit PH for breakfast--I was disappointed. (really didn't think you could screw up a breakfast buffet). It was just OK. DH ate their later for lunch & said it was better for lunch. I hit Paris buffet for dinner & enjoyed it. We then hit Paris buffet for breakfast the next morning also--again, very good.

We had every intention of trying to maximize it by getting 3 meals in one day plus breakfast the next day before the 24 hours expires (say breakfast at 9AM the first day, 8AM the 2nd day), but honestly I don't think either of us could do 3 buffets in a day--and we each just get one plate with just a taste of anything that interests us. Then we each choose one small dessert. We at breakfast about 9, DH had lunch about 2 & I had late lunch/early dinner about 4--and we were plenty full. But, hey, it was free, so all good!

if your solo can you get two buffet passes for two separate days or is it only good for two people redeemed at the same time?

The fine print says they must be redeemed together. I go alone, but for this trip, I have a Vegas friend I'm sharing the reward with. So, I'll be redeeming both, hopefully tonight. I've also heard from somone that they do not allow redemption on weekends. I'm not 100% certain the weekend restriction is always applicable. I'll find out more tonight. If they don't let me redeem it this trip, it's gonna be tough for me to redeem as I can only travel on weekends due to my job.

Sure you can. We redeemed mine at PH on the Saturday we arrived into town. We used it for dinner there that night and for the Sunday brunch at Paris the next morning. No extra charge or anything. Just make sure your friend is with you when you go to the TR desk to redeem it, they'll need to activate it on both your cards at the same time.

That's good to know. Someone I know had a friend in Vegas last weekend who posted a comment that Harrah's did not allow her to redeem the TR Visa Buffet of Buffets, giving the reasoning being that it was a weekend.

It is only good for two people redeemed at the same time .... although you might be able to redeem it for 1 person but only for 24 hours.

Bottom line: 1 person can't get 48 hours of buffets out of it.

I believe the coupon is good for up $99.95 but 2 weekend b-o-b are about $130($65 x 2). That is why I thought it wouldn't work unless you paid more on the weekend.

6 The "Buffet of Buffets" pass is valid for six months from the time the credit card is issued. Offer is non-transferable. Valid only in Las Vegas. Both passes must be redeemed at the same time. Subject to black-out dates and surcharge for Bacchanal® Buffet at Caesars Palace and Village Seafood BuffetSM at the Rio All-Suites Hotel and Casino. Applicable to primary Visa cardholder only and limited to one offer per Total Rewards account which must be printed on the Visa card.

I think it's like 15 bucks for CP and Rio.
