    not in Vegas.

As I was walking into the lobby of the building I work in I saw Tony Dunst from WPT. I asked him if indeed he is Tony Dunst. He seemed surprised to be recognized and confirmed that he is. I said I was a poker enthusiast and said I had seen him on TV. He shook my hand and wished me luck the next time I play. He then went back to his email checking. He is pretty tall and was well dressed, as I expected.

you can go to the Commerce Casino any day of the week and see many of these "poker pros". Every visit I will see on average 5-6 recognizable poker celebrities. have also played with many of them over the years. I believe after seeing many of these guys in action that it is true luck-box to get to these TV final tables as most of them are horrible in cash play.

Walk in to the Aria or Bellagio on any night and you will see tons of pros including Doyle Brunson, Daniel Negreanu, Phil Helmuth etc...

I think you guys missed the point of my post.

I wasn't in a poker room, I was in the lobby at work in NYC.

I'm not surprised he was surprised to be noticed. Anyone outside of watching the WPT wouldn't know him. Was he wearing a suit then as well?
