    My Trip Report

Wasn't going to write a TR for this past trip, but I want a distraction from work for 10 or 15 minutes, so here is your mini TR of my trip to the Bellagio last week.

*Left Wednesday morning. Travelling with friend. She woke up late. Got on the plane just before they closed the doors :faint:

*Made it to Vegas and immediately placed what would be the first of many winning baseball and basketball bets. Actually crushed it at the sportsbook, leaving up over $7k on sports bets. Unfortunately, that was the gambling hilight

    *Cypress Suite. Very cool

*Walked over to Forum Shops and went to H&M. Didn't find anything I liked, which is rare for me there. It was probably a sign of bad things to come.

*Gambled late into the night and won a lot of money. yay! Should have stopped right there, but I'm in Vegas, so you can guess what happened next.

*Next day we go to the spa and salon. Friend talks me into getting my first ever manicure/pedicure. I don't get it. So now my perpetually hiking and climbing-bruised toenails are shiny. Guess what, they still look bruised and mangled. Thank god that was comped, lol

*Hit the tables again and gave back everythying I won the night before plus about $10k! :grrr: Sucko

*Fancy dinner at Michael Mina. It was good, but not fantastic. Friend who ordered scallops actually got sick! :vomit:

*She went to bed and I hit the tables again. Pretty much even for the night

*Next morning the friend has to fly home so I get up early to make sure the comped transpo is waiting for her. After that, quick steam shower and I hit the tables again at Bellagio, Caesars and Cosmo. Monster comeback!!! I get back the $10k I was down plus another $10k more. Feeling good. Wouldn't last.

*Sleep in a bit and hit the tables again for my final day in town. Pretty much break even all morning. Then things turn bad. Really bad! I drop everything I've won. Did I mention I'm taking heavy allergy medication? New rule. No gambling on heavy meds. I get on tilt and out of control! Proceed to lose a lot of money.

*Exhausted, take a break, walk around and buy some gifts for friends.

*Hit the craps table again and get crushed. The floor man felt so bad that he raised the table minimum to $100 so that nobody will jump in on me. Nice of him to do, but it clearly made no difference. I shoot terribly, regardless of what side I am on, and blow way past my stop loss limit. Whoops. Still up on the year, but that Saturday put a HUGE dent in my bankroll. Oh well.

*Host buys me dinner at Fix. Not good, way overrrated. Should have done Yellowtail instead.

*Sleep, get on the plane, go home and watch Game of Thrones. Hilight of the weekend

Next trip is in June. Will probably sneak off to Tunica before then to see if I can repair my bankroll a bit, but I would guess that I am a solid six months away from gambling again at the level I have for the past six months. Its cool, though. Gives me a goal to aim for :peace:

Actually, a couple nice craps lays when I was on the don't and laying $8400. Those couple of sevens were pretty sweet!

Oh, and when I hit Cosmo to play, I went up to the Talon Room to play baccarat. Its worth walking through, even if you aren't going to play there, just to check out the "art" on the walls. :confused2: There is some interesting stuff in there

And then you come to find out Wiggins picked Kansas! I'm still pouting over it. UK will still have a great season but I was really looking forward to a perfect season! I hope we meet up with them in the final four and kick their ass!

Do you bet on UK? Have you placed any bets on next season yet?

sorry to hear things started out good and then you got slaughtered. I've been there more times than I wish to recollect. hopefully you have better luck when you head back out there the end of June.

I know! He was going to be the cherry on top! I really thought KU was his last choice of the remaining schools

Hopefully. I've been really crushed three times since last September, including this trip (the first one last September wasn't too bad, though). Each time I bounced back with two or three big wins following the bad trip. If that pattern repeats, then its all good (much like repeating bac patterns; yes!)

Little bit of shopping, some food, and a long spa session. In other words, the usual trip!
