I do like to try new places. But, after trying Green Valley Ranch, I doubt i'll go back. Two problems with room (one being no air conditioning). Overall, just ok

GVR used to be much better. The rooms are still OK, but maintenance is sometimes a problem. The hotel's maze-like quality is confusing the first time you stay there. The buffet and gambling offerings have gone downhill over the past couple of years. GVR used to be one of my regular places, but with Stations new policy of not offering comps, I've quit going.

GVR always has been and always will be one of my favorite places to stay. However, as 33X said, comped rooms are getting harder to come by so, without freebies like rooms, point multipliers and free buffets, we will also sadly be taking our business elsewhere.

I didn't study business in college but I am in business and do attend seminars all the time. I cannot understand with all the choices in LV, how they can reduce or eliminate comps. The cost to get new customers is astronomical compared to keeping an existing one. It is abut 4 to one if I remember correctly. It's peanuts to give you a meal compared to spending to bring in new business.

Not likely to happen. Michael Tata kicked the bucket from an overdose while American Casino was still in production and Ninya Perna pretty much dropped off the face of the planet.

I no longer get free room offers from GVR or RR, but still get a ton from Sunset Station. Staying 6 nights comped beginning next week.
