Now I'll understand if this thread gets removed, as it might be against the terms... I completely understand. But I figured I'd give it a shoot, after all, this is a board related to a gambling destination. :)

My wife and I, when in Rome, will always have a few nights where her and I have those drunkard, stumbling moments late at night back to the room, as I'm sure many couples do. Usually, again as most couples, had a late afternoon of getting dressed up: the guys ready in 15 minutes, the ladies about an hour and a half of primping and prepping. Looking beautiful and sexy as always of course. Head out to the casino bar, order a cocktail, head to dinner, play off the dinner with some gaming and dancing... Followed with drinks in between. You both look at each other with glossed over eyes at 1 in the morning. Guys you know this part... She is laughing having a good time, and you think about that dress coming off, so you guys make it to the elevator, thinking about what is next, etc, etc...

So you pull out your mobile phone, and dare her to flash for the camera. Elevator doors open, you both make it down the hallway to your room. Maybe another snap of the camera...

Ok so as long as you make it back to your room, and whatever continues to happen, happens behind the deadbolt, do you think any lewd act has been committed? I'm sure no one would want LVPD and hotel security knocking on the door for indecent exposure. Do you imagine hotel security are monitoring hotel elevator cameras constantly? Maybe they just use the footage from the DVR if something were to be reported? It's just all fun and teasing and not for the prudish. But I also know laws are laws and they are there to keep us all safe. And as a responsible citizen, I follow them... I hope most readers do not find this offensive. Just some spice to keep marriage fun.

I think you're correct about using the DVR footage if something is reported, but I don't know about anyone actually monitoring it live. I do know last summer the elevator doors opened on the 15th floor of the Hard Rock's HRH Tower and I was witness to a young lady on her knees giving head to a fella while another girl filmed from her smartphone! They laughed and ran out and down the hall... I got on for the ride down. I'm sure stuff happens in there ALL the time!

As am I. I'm certain 90% of it goes unnoticed. I still want to obey the law :)

Actually somewhat surprised I haven't found anything related to my thread on here.

You're actually worried about LVPD coming to your room if your wife flashes her boobs to the security camera in a closed elevator?

    Seriously?

That has to be so tame compared to some of the things casino security guys see happening in the elevators all the time.

Not an answer to your question but there was that stabbing in the elevators at MBay a few months back. No one was probably watching live but security responded quickly only because the lady pressed the help button. But the events leading up to the stabbing was recorded for use by the authorities.

As far as I know, there isn't a Flash the Elevator Cam website...yet. Y'know, like those roller coasters that take your pic and someone flashes for the cam. Tons of websites for those ones...how they get their pics I dunno. Either the person who did the flashing bought the pic (or one of their fans) or the non-descript roller cam attendant has a personal stash. Perhaps the elevator cam attendent has a stash somewhere just waiting to be uploaded.

Love your idea of spice! I think if they see it as good nature fun you probably wont have security knocking on your door.

I can 100% tell you that they are indeed monitoring the hallways and elevators.

A few years back i went to vegas solo and wanted to take some pictures of the room, hallway and elevator for my Mom so she could sort of see what the place looked like a step at a time.

I took a few pics in the hall as i was heading towards the elevator and then some more on the ride down.
i made sure to not take any in the casino because i didnt want to get in trouble.

As I headed for the door I was stopped by about 5 security guys. They wanted to know why i was taling so many pictures of the hall and elevator and who i worked for.

i guess they thought I worked for a competitor.

I explained what i was doing and offered to delete the pics if they wanted. They held me there for about 10 minutes and finally let me go.

I'm just imagining worst case scenario here. I realize plenty of drunks girls are out there in their bachelorette entourages flashes tits and their chocolate starfishes in the halls at night. That the ghetto kids get lit in the far quarters of Imperial Palace with their weed. And the hooker is busy giving the d bag who has a disposable expense account something she'll earn another mouth sore from...
... I was just trying to play it safe on the board here. And while my wife wouldn't be directly flashing the elevator camera, we would definitely play it off as an adult drunkard awkward moment. However, it would be quite a thrill to get caught doing what smartone mentioned! It would make a great Vegas.com commercial right? LOL

It's Vegas, if they arrested people for that stuff the town would be empty in a week.

All that footage ends up in the Hotel Security Christmas Party reel.

Well they certainly weren't watching the hallways in Ballys when I was there several trips back. I think I even mentioned in my trip report I saw two people "hooking up" on one of the couches that are in the walkways to your room. Just a TAD bit awkward for me, to say the least!

But then again, maybe they were. Hmmm

I always wondered about the cameras in the elevators though. If they are personally being watched, just being taped or there just as a rouse (sp?). There is definitely some hanky panky going on in there

Wonder if I can get invited to that one?

As others have mentioned, I'm sure that is pretty tame in the big scheme of things. Now running the length of the hall without the dress may be another story. Fun way to spice it up

No chance whatsoever that would be considered a lewd act. I'm sure some security guy enjoys the show if your wife/gf is hot but that's about it.

As long as it's not in front of people and they get no complaints, I'm sure they see much worse on a regular basis. Middle of the day when kids are out and about may be another story though.....

Just to see the level of lewdness I think we'll need to see a sample pic :evillaugh:poke:

    Love in an Elevator

The only possible concern I'd have about exposure and/or sexual acts in front of security cameras is the lack of privacy, as the chance that someone could be watching you on a monitor (and saving the video to show co-workers later) is very real. It is extremely unlikely that the video would leave the premises. If the idea of being watched doesn't concern you (and for some this may tickle an exhibitionistic streak and just make it more fun), I'd say do just about anything in an elevator.

As far as Metro involvement is concerned, I wouldn't worry about it one bit so long as everyone involved is consenting and of age. Even in the quite unlikely event that a staff member does something about your elevator fun, I wouldn't expect it to go beyond a "Hey, they made me come ask you folks to cool it until you're back in your room, sorry to bug ya" sort of event.

Overall, the likelihood of the event going entirely unnoticed is extremely high, the likelihood of surveillance staff getting their jollies watching you a distant second, ending up on a saved video clip remotely possible, and police involvement (unless you or your partner happens to be a law officer) nearly impossible.

Hmmm. We will be at Ballys. I always wondered what those sofas near the elevators were for.

Where was this? I take pictures of everything including the hallway, room and room number.
I try to be discrete in the casinos and have been told not to take pictures which I understand.
When Luxor was doing renovations they became real dicks about photos even in non gaming areas.
