I have a huge favor to ask someone going to the Four Queens soon. Would you please take a picture of the coffee pot for me, and post it..or send it to me by text or private message. I need to know for sure what type it is, and if it will take filters (so I can take my own coffee and filters) or if I need to pack my own maker. LOL I know, im a fussy ole bitty and its a strange request...LOL
If your going soon, and willing to do this for me, pm me and I will gladly give you my number to text me.
    Thanks!!

Sorry I can't help you, Shelby, but just be aware that there's also good coffee at Dunkin Donuts across the street in the Fremont.

I need my coffee upon waking up, and wish not to leave my room to get coffee. Also other ladies will be joining me in my room for morning coffee to plan our day, so its important to know what we will need. Yes I know there is even a McDonalds nearby...but we are not wanting to go out to get it first thing in the morning. Thanks anyway for the suggestion.

The Four Queens supplies you with 3 or 4 coffee packs in the room. When we stayed there, and used those up, we would simply ask the maid for a few more (along with a tip, of course) ... and were never refused.

If i want to brew my own special flavor.....does the cofffee maker take a small paper filter? Or is it a tray for a sealed pouch of coffee?

Either way will work, but the basket is a little smaller that your typical 12-cup Mr. Coffee.

Shelbymae, at the front top of the coffee maker is a smallish rectangular pullout where you put the prepackaged coffee packs they leave for you in the room. Those packs are what you typically find in a hotel room, shaped a bit like an oval, so you have to kind of push down the packs into the pullout to get them to fit snuggly. You could easily use other packs that you bring/buy, if they're not too big, or spread a regular (smallish) filter in the pullout and spoon in some coffee grounds

I could be wrong, but my impression is that it's bigger than a 2 cup cause I'm pretty sure I brewed more than 2 cups. Maybe I just overfilled it!
