My hubby and I are staying at the Mirage mid-June for a Sunday-Thursday stay. We have never stayed there before and wanted to know if VMB members had some good tips and insights to make our stay even better.

We are staying in the cheapest room they have, probably won't be on the higher floors. We play mainly table games and very little slots. We aren't afraid to spend the money for a fancy dinner, but usually just grab a sandwich or snack during the day. We don't do night clubs, but like to visit lounges with good entertainment. We don't mind walking the strip and aren't shy about taking a cab if needed. I plan to spend some time at the pool, but most likely won't be in line first thing in the morning to put a towel on a chair to save it.

Any tips or suggestions that you think would be helpful would be appreciated.

Don't be a dummy like me and forget that across the street is where they hide the cheap-o eats like Chipotle and Subway. Mirage doesn't have much in the way of quick bites. I stomped from Mirage to TI to Wynn to the mall looking for a grab n' go when the whole time it was right out the front door!!

The Mirage is out favorite place to stay! Even on the lower floors the rooms are the same and they are all really nice since the renovation a few years back. Be sure to stop at Carnegie Deli for lunch and beware the size of the sandwiches. Best idea is to order one and share....they are gynormous! BLT burger has some great burgers too. King Ink has a tattoo shop on property and be sure to visit the Love gift shop for some cool Beatles goodies. Take the tram over to TI for a change of scenery and right accross the street is Harrah's, Flamingo and the Venetian. Next door is Caesars forum shops and then Bellagio. If its hot outside, you can take the tram to TI, walk through and up the escalator to the walkway from TI to the outlet mall. Then from the outlet mall area, take the escalator up and over to the Wynn. It only takes a few minutes and half of your trek is inside.
We love the Mirage location mid-strip its easy to get to everywhere. The bus to downtown stops in front of the Venetian if you decide to go there as well. Let's see....what have I forgotten? The Mirage slots can be a little unforgiving on average but if you are in to table games, expect a $10-$15 minimum on most tables in the evenings during the week. Look for the older white dude dealers....they seem to be a lot friendlier than most of the women dealers at Mirage, in our experience.
We'll be there in 3 weeks...can't wait! Have fun!

Harrahs, Venetian right across the street.
Caesars via Forum shops next door.

Lots of great options right there.

Deli serves up a ton of food.

Pool is nice, and on weekdays you should be fine.

The Mirage has a remodeled sportsbook with a huge hi-def screen and some very comfy chairs if you want to partake of some sportsbook action or just to chill out and watch a game.
