Here is a question for the Craps players out there. I normally have around $60 out on the table once a point is established ($10 pass, $30 odds, $12+$12 8 and 6 or come bets with odds).

Last time at the B I played for about an hour and a half but when I looked on my mlife account, I don't think I even got rated. Does playing the $10 pass line min make me look like a low roller (which I know I am), but I still think it constitues some rating.

    Thanks in advance.

The odds don't get rated, so you would have $34 action if the pit boss was rating you. You should have gotten rated since it is above the $25 minimum for a rating. Since the Bellagio is notorious for underrating people, I wouldn't be surprised if the pit boss just didn't bother, especially if the table was busy. Especially if your pass line point was the 6 or 8 and you only put a place bet on the other one, then you would only have $22, which would be under the $25 minimum for rating. Although you might have put out a come bet if the point was 6 or 8, but remember only the come bet gets rated, and not the odds on it.

Yeah if you're playing on a $10+ table you should be rated, unless you're just playing pass + odds as Nate said, odds aren't rated. On a busy table though, especially one with bigger bettors, you could easily be ignored by the pit boss if you're flirting with that $25 threshold.

Well for 1.. NateDogg responded to my post... I am officially famous.

    2. I did not know about the odds, I also had a few dealer bets going on the hardways which I thought would be appreciated. Next time I will ask the pit boss what my rating was. I had to run this last time because we were wanting to watch the Final Four. Even though I stayed at the B, most the gambling was done at the Cosmo... My friends just couldn't stray from that place.

It's tough to get rated that low anyways.

A few year ago I was at the Bellagio and the boys told me not to even bother putting down my mlife card since I wouldn't really be rated very well. I was bouncing between the V/P and B. I think the V/P had me rated around $140-150 a roll. I was told to see some RFB I'd need to get to the $225 range at the V/P.

I was playing the exact same way at both casinos. I thought $140 was pretty low, but I do like to call off my bets for a few rolls when something weird occurs at the table. Perhaps it was odds on my come bets that I wasn't taking into account?

Glad someone asked this question so I didnt have to. Also glad to see Natedog respond to this. I have never been worried in the past about what I got rated I was just there for the pure enjoyment of it. However on my next trip I am a little more aware of ratings and want to increase it. Being a "new" player when I say new i mean I only started playing craps on my 2nd trip to Vegas and it wasnt until Oct. 12 trip that I got serious about playing and understanding where my bets went and such.

This has been helpful for me, now if only the craps gods will shine their good fortune on us when each of us hit Vegas next time.
