Where would be the best tasting pizza that is sold either by the slice or made to order whole?

I can never remember the name, but NY NY has a New York style pizza place right where the other restaurants are in the casino - you can get it by the slice.

It's good, but I had 2 slices and a coke for $17 (this was a year ago and I even saved the receipt). A bit pricey IMO.

In Paris casino there is JJ's Boulangerie that has some awesome pizza. They have a pizza take out window with a 2 slices and a drink special for like 10 or 11 bucks. Awesome pie, it's the kind of thin crust that you fold in half and eat like a taco. The cheese is very flavorful with aromatic spices sprinkled throughout.

I always make a stop there every trip to Vegas. Sometimes 2.

I'm a huge pizza fan, I need to try some of these places out. I've just drunkely grabbed pizza at Sbarro quite a few times in the Monte Carlo food court mostly because I stay at Aria a lot. Any good pizza at the Venetian (not prejudice/racist :evillaugh )

Actually my favorite is at Venetian, in their food court off the side of the casino floor. Pizzeria de Enzo is their name and they sell the thin NY style crust by the slice or the whole pie. Open 24 hours. It's done wonders for many of morning hangovers!

I'm not a pizza snob by any stretch and I definitely don't seek it out in Vegas, but I like that place too.

I have seen a lot of people mention this pizza place. I think we may just have to try it out :). Thanks everyone for the help. If anyone else has any opinions on good pizza by the slice please feel free to keep the names coming!

I'm from Chicago and a bit picky about eating pizza outside of city limits.

The only place I eat pizza in Vegas is at Metro Pizza in Ellis Island. You can get two slices for $3.50 on Thursdays & 2 for 1 whole pizzas on Sundays. On other days, the price is reasonable.

This is the type of thread that can lead to a war between NY style vs. Chicago style. :)

To the OP...the secret pizza at Cosmo is NY style. Be wary of these Chicagoans like Viva, Beeejay, et. al. who may lead you to places that serve Chicago style slices of "cake" masquerading as pizza. :poke:

I stay Downtown mostly and liked the offerings from 777 in MSS and Picadilly just across from The D.

I plan on trying Pop-up and Uncle Joe's Pizza this weekend. Uncle Joe's is on Fremont East.

I had pop's in the Plaza early this month and really enjoyed it. The pizza in the picture is one I made. So I know a little about pizza.
