Prince will perform two nights in each city with his new all-female backing band, 3rd Eye Girl. These concerts will be in the vein of The Purple One’s infamous late night club shows as opposed to the stadium extravaganzas most recently featured on the “Welcome 2 America” tour. Ticket info should be released some time next week and are sure to go fast. It goes without saying, but anyone lucky enough to get tickets to these relatively intimate shows will be in for a serious treat.

    April 15 & 16: The Vogue – Vancouver, BC
    April 18 & 19: Showbox – Seattle, WA
April 23 & 24: DNA Lounge – San Francisco, CA
April 26 & 27: The Joint – Las Vegas, NV
April 30 & May 1: Marquee Theatre – Phoenix, AZ
May 3 & 4: Hard Rock Hotel – San Diego, CA
    May 7 & 8: The Grove – Anaheim, CA

Would love to see this show but if it's like the SXSW show he just played I might pass.. he didn't even play an instrument at SXSW and acted more like a band leader than a performer... I want prince to rock a guitar and play the hell out of it..

I'm def out then.. I've seen him a bunch of times and I don't think $150-$250 is worth it.. especially in vegas where I can be easily entertained for $25 or less.. hehhe
