    Just a quick question ..

Do you pay for your drinks as soon as the waitress comes over with the drinks or do you pay at the end of the night..

    Thanks

They will usually ask for a credit card as soon as you sit down, then at the end of the night they will charge the card for the total amount of alcohol purchased.

from my experiences, we paid right away in cash or left a card and settled when we were done

You can pay right away or when you are leaving. We typically run our credit card and pay right away just in case we drink too much and have to leave in a hurry.

Also, after we pay, I typically tell the waitress that nobody has the authority to order more drinks or bottles except me (unless they pay with their own card), which prevents strangers that may stop by your table from ordering drinks on your dime.

The other side of that, if you're at someone else's table, it's best to pay cash for anything you want that's not on the table. For example, my buddy had two bottles at the Bank a couple trips ago, and we were in there on his dime. My wife drinks margaritas, which obviously aren't part of the table. So I ordered for her and paid the waitress in cash for the drinks as they came, so there was no confusion with the table bill.

We gave our card at the beginning of the evening and settled up the bill and tips at the end.

I'm just a little concerned about losing track of what we spend, you see were going as a stag party and we don't know each other basically 4 of us are like brothers and the others coming we don't really know them or their spending habbits they might like keep ordering drinks and expect everyone to pay for them it could end up out of hand .. Thanks for your help ill speak to the guys and pay as we go so everything is kept in order....:peace:

Go to jackcolton.com, they'll have lists of hosts you can get into contact with. Do it within a week or two of going down there. They'll give you a minimum of what you can spend per person and have a menu for bottles you can buy. Some places and hosts will be able you hook you up with buy one get one free deals, most places will have buy two get one free deals. Just ask them about it.

In your situation I wouldn't even take my card out of my pocket. It would be cash all the way, which would mean paying for the bottles up front.

I would be calling up a few clubs to get some prices and see if you can get some sort of deal(package deal for 2-4 bottles or something). At that point, hopefully you can get money ahead of time from the others to pay for it. You don't want the situation at the end of the night when 6 of the people are shocked at the $1500 bill and all they have is your card.

If people are going to be ordering separate drinks, those need to be separate from the bottle service. Pay for the bottles up front and have people dealing with their own drinks with their own cash.

Pepsi, I would try and get as much cash from your group up front as possible. The drinks bill in the clubs is always more then you think it should be, especially when you add on 20% service and tips.
When I go out in London with my group of friends we start with a £40 whip, in Vegas, if we are clubbing, we start with a $200 whip, and that usually only gets us half-way.
The more you get up front, the easier it is to relax, and not worry about a large CC bill at the end of the night.
    Have a great trip.

    Agreed.

This is the safest way for your wallet, if you need any more bottles towards the end of the night just have a whip round.
Worked fine for us when there was a large group consisting of people i knew and people I didn't.

If you pay cash: You will pay up-front the full amount of your minimum (or if you order over your minimum, whatever that amount is) PLUS tax PLUS gratuity.

If you use a card: The waitress will take your card and ID and pre-authorize your card for the full amount of your minimum (or if you order over your minimum, whatever that amount is) PLUS tax PLUS gratuity. The waitress will hold your card and ID throughout the night until you close out your tab.
