there's no such thing as a "no" answer in Vegas. but as with everything, it depends on what you want. if you want a pick up at the airport and drop off, you can usually get that from any host at a fairly low level. if you want additional trips around town while you're there, that would be another level. if you want a limo ride to LA, that's yet another level. but anything can be done.
I have found a limo comp to/from the airport to be on the most basic comp level. That is $100 avg bet, or whatever the min bet is in that particular property's high limit room. As long as your play warrants a host at all, they shouldn't mind arranging airport pick up and drop off for you. Just ask, the worst that will happen is they'll say no.
Caesars properties will set you up with a limo from the airport and they will bill your room about $70. So as long as you earn $70 in comps you can comp it off yourself when you check out.
I'm virtually nobody and I got the offer once attached to a suite, nice FP (for my level) and FB. It came directly from the Mirage in snail mail. Since I'm a peon I booked immediately before they could change their mind. Since I booked that the offers I've gotten are almost insulting. I got an email the other day for one comp night at Mirage. On line I have 3 nights at Bellagio None of it makes any sense. I spend more time in Mississippi than Vegas so I never expect much. It can happen to you!!
Had our host set up a limo for us when we arrive. Checked our monthly report (a few weeks later) and can see the limo ride listed as one of our comps along with room and other stuff.
I have always dreamed of a comped limo to pick me up. I am always jealous of those peoples who have a limo driver waiting with a sign from a casino. One day.
The limo is one of my favorite comps....I would rather have a limo comp than free food....yes, that is how much I dislike cabs in LV. We just ask our host to set it up....never been turned down yet.
Your building it up too much. It's not a big deal at all and a minor comp I think because we always get a limo pickup but are average players. First time you ever sit in a limo you realize it's hardly different than a cab in terms of comfort. In vegas its even less of a big deal since the ride is only 10 minutes.
I think the allure of it is that that casino sent the Limo for me. I have never been offered a limo and I usually rent a car. The Beau Rivage however offered me a seat on a plane for a casino junket and a bus to their casino. I however know that I am a low roller as the trip was Monday thru thursday.
Never had an airport pickup, but on my last 2 trips at MGM I called down to VIP services at the end of my trip to see if they could knock any additional money off on top of what I was already comped... both times the answer was no, but on both occassions I asked for a ride to the airport and the answer was yes to that. Its definately worth asking.
That's a good one...I'm going to use that. Give them something they can say no to, then do the bait and switch for something they'll feel obligated to say yes to.
