Got one at Club Tattoo inside Planet Hollywood shops / Miracle Mile....was expensive for just a small tattoo but worth it....it's Vegas! I always say I'm going to get one done at King Ink inside Mirage if I hit it big while there....haven't it it big yet so still dreaming about that one....

so what do tats cost nowadays? last one i got was back in 1981 .....
was really thinking of getting a small one while in las vegas
back when i got my tattoo in 1981 safety was not a concern , but now is it safe ?
i mean do they reuse ink or needles? and how do you know they are not using ink that has been used before ?
you cannot "catch " anything can ya ? hepatitis comes to mind ....
i have a skull and rose with a tophat that cost a whopping 20.00 back in the day .....pretty faded now

my small one I got done at Club Tattoo , about the size of a silver dollar cost me $125. I took the bandage off too early and it got dirty and infected (walking around the strip with flip flops on...it was on my foot) so add another $50 or so when I got home for the doc visit and antibiotics. But, that was my fault...the studio was really clean.

By comparison, a few years before I got a pretty large colored back tattoo here at home in the Dallas area for only $170 total. So, yep...it will cost you more cuz it's Vegas

Though I'm "tatooless", I appreciate the good ones. Hart & Huntington (Hard Rock) always seem to have people in the chairs.

About 3 times what they do back home. I don't have any ink, yeah a former Marine sans ink weird aint it, but am planning on getting one of my late great bird dog Bubba in tribute to him. I have checked around here with the places my inked friends use and checked at Starlight and Kings and both were in the 3X range what I was told here. Like most "luxuries" in Vegas it costs more than it does elsehwere. Far as catching something I don't know about there but here the industry is very highly regulated since they even allowed it just 4 years ago.

I think tattoo removal will be a big business in 10 years. When I see a tat on a 30 year old woman, I think about what it will look like in 25 or 30 years. It ain't for me, but to each his/her own.
