I am booking a Pacific Northwest repositioning cruise from Los Angeles, Calif.
to Vancouver. The NCL Jewel, Sun, and Pearl ships are charging $299. per person for insiders and windows are just a few dollars more.

I love going on the Pacific Northwest cruises because I love stopping at Victoria BC, Nanimo, San Francisco and end up in Vancouver.

I am booking the Norwegian Jewel that departs on May 8th. It was refurbished on 2010. All those ships are fun. I am a big time cruiser.

Call your travel agent if you are interested. LucyR.

We did that one last year on the Jewel and it was fun. The casino was pretty lucky for me too and that always makes a cruise better.

How are you getting back to LA ?

I assume you have to add that to the cost of the cruise.Unless passengers live near LA they have to travel there to board the cruise, and then go back home from Vancouver. Can you get a cheap flight from Vancouver back home?

    Air fare

I checked the airlines. Alaska air - $240. , WestJet air - $249. no baggage fee.

Most of the people that cruise from L.A. cruiseport are from Calif. & Arizona &
    Vancouver and Victoria BC.

I live in the L.A. area and I get dropped off at the cruise ship. I then fly back to LAX airport and take a shuttle home.

People from Canada fly to L.A. on AirCanada or whatever. Their flights are cheap too.

Most of the cruisers are regulars who cruise on the repo cruises on the Pacific Northwest cruise ships.

Princess Cruiseline will be repositioning to Seattle. Holland America and Celebrity will also be repo to Vancouver.

They are getting ready for their Alaska cruises. I prefer NCL. ships. LucyR.

    Airfare to Vegas from Vancouver

If I feel like it I can fly from Vancouver on Alaska air to Vegas for $199. and stay a few days and then fly home on Southwest for free using my flight points.

There are several options if You really want to cruise.

NCL does have a package deal of air + cruise. But I prefer to book separately so I can make changes if I want to do that. LucyR.

Check Allegiant air out of Bellingham. Quick 1/2 hour bus ride from Vancouver, and they often have flights for under $100 if you dont have too much luggage. Alaska also has reasonable flights from there, especially to Vegas.
