Despite recent reports to the contrary, Britney Spears is still in “deep negotiations” to headline a Las Vegas residency in the near future, says her manager, Larry Rudolph.



“I’d be shocked if it didn’t happen,” Rudolph told Extra on Tuesday. “[We're] hoping to have a deal done very soon.”

Rudolph also revealed that negotiations had been narrowed down to two potential casinos, one of which is part of the Caesars Entertainment group.

 

LAS VEGAS (AP) — After weeks of speculation, Caesars Entertainment is confirming that it's trying to lure Britney Spears to Las Vegas for a recurring gig at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino.

Spokeswoman Emily Wofford said Friday the company is in negotiations to install the pop princess on the Las Vegas Strip.


The 31-year-old "Scream & Shout" singer stoked residency rumors last week by responding with a "Viva Las Vegas" hashtag to a post from her dog's Twitter account asking if puppies can gamble in Sin City.

 

This story was all over the news a few months ago, but there hasn't been a peep about it in quite awhile. Is this still going to happen or did the deal die ?? I was actually thinking tickets would be going on sale around this time if everything was coming down the pike smoothly.

 

Neogiations take a long time. Not to mention, she is a little nutty so who knows what she wants put in her contract ryder.

I can just see it now, Brittney branded slot machines, hit triple crotch shots of her for the jackpot. We could see bald brittney as the cherry symbol or the multiplier.

For the bonus round, it could be like the Haywire machines, where the symbols start spinning wildly and has Brittney saying crazy things for the SFX. I'm telling you CET is on the verge of marketing gold if they sign her!

 

That's hysterical. Maybe if you get three umbrellas in a row, it says "Look Up" and a bald Britney bashes you over the head.

Contract negotiations for the proposed Britney Spears residency have reached the point that the pop princess will arrive here next week to tour PH Live at Planet Hollywood.

From three inside sources, I have confirmed that all parties have agreed to the negotiations of the number of shows she’ll perform over a two-year run. “All that really remains now is the dotting of the I’s and the crossing of the T’s,” I was told. “It’s very, very close to being finalized and becoming official
