I have once in December 2012. Call a little early to guarantee a seat.

It is 4/8 limit, no kills. I bought in for $200, but I had to reload via ATM. :( Made a nice comeback to ~even though. :) Many games are action-packed and multi-way. :)

They have about 15 tiles to choose from for the game. A player gets to choose the game for an orbit (sometimes 2 orbits if it's shorthanded) and the game chooser rotates around the table.

    Games include:
    Holdem (wtf?)
    Omaha8
    "Big O"
    Stud8
    Razz
    Stud High
    2-7 Triple Draw
    A-5Triple Draw
    Badugi
    Razzdugi
    Badacey
    Badeucey
    A-5 TD/8 or better

probably a few others I'm forgetting, and I'm pretty sure you can call others not on plaques if it's agreed upon at the table. Nevada is lax like that unlike my homestate of Missouri.

Lowball games are called often, particularly Badacey. It is really so much fun though! But be warned, make sure you are throwing away the right cards in Badugi/Badeucey/Badacey. I seemed to struggle with that for the first few orbits of the game.

When I played it ran from ~6:30pm to 5am. Maybe because I was the only one really drinking at the table? My g/f was so pissed the next day..lol

Another tip: If you get Karina Jett sitting to your left, request a seat change button, or feel the wrath of her raises. :grrr:

Thanks for the info. I'm glad the game goes all night. Used to play a lot of mix games in Vegas, but don't live there any longer.

It took me a few rounds to remind myself of the Ace.

I wasn't aware MGM ran such a thing...

The only fun, low-limit mix game I knew about is now once again at TI, Sunday nights at 7pm. 3-6 limits covering many of the same games below and sort of unofficially 'sponsored' by folks on the All Vegas Poker board.

It's entirely possible the same All Vegas Poker folks are behind this game at MGM? I have no idea.

Dang it. Now I'm peeved that my next flight out of town leaves at 16:55 on Monday!

The game isn't AVP-motivated although the "host" of the game has posted about it on there though. MGM often gets a 6/12 Mix game going on Wednesdays too.

Also there is a facebook page for LV Mix games now.
