Congrtulations. I would much prefer the drinking title to the "eat everything in sight obesity" title that we have down here.

I'm really surprised the southern states are so low on the scale, guess I bought into the "stereotype"

ON WISCONSIN!! Winters suck so we drink to forget about it and then all we do is drink in the summertime at fests, fairs, games, and what not!

Take a look at this site. The fact that there are multiple Wisconsin drinking shirts says a lot. I know the guy who owns the site and he said the Drink Wisconsinbly shirt is selling like hot cakes!

Yea, that leaves less room for beer. :)

Oh and WI is the place that drank all the hipster beers before they were hipster beers. The bar doesn't have PBR on tap because it is cool, it is because the tap has been there for 20+ years.

Back in the 70s my brother and I owned a bar in downtown Milwaukee. We were across the street from the a college campus and one block from the Pabst Brewery. It was the best of both worlds!

All our tappers were Pabst and at one time we were second in Pabst 1/4 barrel consumption in the 5 county metro area. The only place that sold more Pabst was the UW-Milwaukee Student Union.

As someone who is from wisconsin and now lives in MN, I can say that stat is no surprise. A few years ago I was back in Milwaukee and noticed several people drinking beer while driving on the highways, very committed.
