Since the Horseshoe was where I learned to play craps, we had a lot of fun there. The dealers gave us nicknames, were really patient as we learned how to keep up, and they celebrated our wins. We still quote the stick man that would help us out by saying "and don't for get the C and E!". It was also a great old atmosphere with loads of history. You felt a part of it. Well, since I am returning for the first time this week in several years, we will be looking for a new place to play downtown. What spot do you find to be the most fun?

Love golden gates atmosphere along with binions.. Plaza and lv club have to be the worst. El Cortez's drink service has always been the best for me!

I have to go with MSS. Great buffet, good selection of VP, not too smokey and those great microbrews!

Most patrons in downtown seem to be playing their last $20 left in their whole savings account. That kinda depresses me and I don't find it very appealing to play DT.

However, the casinos being very close to each other makes it easy to casino hop, which I like.

So, I visit DT everytime I go to Vegas, but don't stay there more than 4-5 hours to mostly use the ACG coupons and get out. Most fun place seemed to be Four Queens to me.

    Team Cortez

The El Cortez has great games with low minimums. The atmosphere there can't be beat in my opinion. We have a group that stays and plays at the Cortez every year for the rounds of 64 and 32 of the men's NCAA basketball tournament.

The poll asks, "Most Fun." Not best gambling conditions, or best food, or best rooms, just most fun. So I have to say Golden Gate. I have asked the girls if their managers make them interact with the customers. They say no, it's just the kind of girls they hire. And as I think about it, the fun aspect of it is really the more appealing part of the playing there than the scantily clad girls part of it, and I really like scantily clad girls!

Difficult to understand why the GG would "deliver the best DT gaming experience" ... when they offer NO full-pay video poker** (according to VPfree), and they offer no cash-back.

    ** 9/6 DDB (for dollars) is not full-pay ... only 98.98%

I voted for GN but I can see why MSS got so many votes. MSS is a great place to have fun with good eats to boot.
