I returned home a week ago today. I feel like a teenage girl who has gone to summer camp without her boyfriend... I can't stop thinking about Vegas and am yearning to go back. How long does it usually take you to reintegrate back into normal life?

Likely going back in June but that's months from now. Gotta focus on getting a BR together!

For me it always kind of depends if I won or lost on the trip. If I come back a winner, I'm ready to go back before my flight even lands. If I've really taken it in the shorts, I always have a Vegas hangover that lasts anywhere from a week to several months. But it isn't long before I'm dreaming of Vegas and I'm pretty much always yearning to return...the feeling never really goes away.

Never. I always am thinking about going back, checking rates on rooms and flights. I only get to go once a year but this year I'm going twice May/Nov.

Never. I start planning my next trip during the cab ride to McCarran for the flight home.

Though the primary reason behind my monthly visits is business, I've returned home many, many times with an empty wallet and pounding head... that said, it usually takes me just a couple days to start "yearning" for the return.

it has started to subside a bit for me.

after every trip I vow to never return.

winning trip, I might get 2 months before booking the next trip.

losing trip, I might go 3 months before booking next trip.

But by the 4-month mark without a trip, I am without fail getting pumped for an upcoming trip.

I'm the exact opposite. I've had my fill when I get back and it takes 4-6 weeks before I want to head back again.

There were trips where I did have that feeling. These were 2-3 day trips and I just realized that these are too short for me. I never want to be sick of it at the end, but I want the feeling that I had my fill. 4 days is minimum, 5-6 is preferred.

I just got back on Wednesday and I'm currently in the midst of a serious funk. This has happened the last several trips.....I just dread coming home! I'm like a damn drug addict in need of a fix....it's gotten that bad.

Takes a few days to a week to recuperate and then it's on to planning the next visit.

We typically book our Vegas flights as early as possible ... so when we return from one trip, we already have the next one booked. In fact, when we were on our Jan/Feb Super Bowl trip, we already had our April trip booked (both airfare & hotel). AND ... on Feb. 4th, the day before we flew home, I even booked our September flights from our room at the SunCoast.

We are either addicted, or just have nothing better to do with our time (and money).

The difference here is everyone is on your side telling you to give into Vegas. :)

I love all the threads asking if they should extend there trip a day or 2. As if they don't know what 100s of Vegas lovers will automatically say. :)

Damn I know that feeling. I get home from Vegas and I'm usually fine that first week. I look at pictures and remember good times. That second week is when all hell breaks loose. I find myself looking at vegas yelp reviews and youtube videos. Next thing I know I'm putting a trip together.

let me put it this way. I was in vegas december 25 2012- January 3rd 2013. I'm going back to vegas march 6th in a couple days. Originally I was planning to just do July, October, and December this year. I doubt that is how it will go. Would not be surprised to see me planning a vegas trip for may if i win when I get back. no way i can last till july after this trip lol. I have a serious problem

Even when I am there I am looking forward to my next visit. This usually occurs because I talk with people while I am there who tell me great things about the resorts they are staying at. If I haven't stayed at these ballyhooed resorts I do a little research and stay there on my next visit.

i have been to vegas twice now. and it was a 2 year wait in between trips. This last trip though i came back a week ago and im already wanting to go back. but with a lot of things going on this year i dont think we can afford it . so maybe the every 2 year thing is good

I always want to go back.

There are certain places that are always like that. We usually do group trips (about 10 people) and Vegas, the Caribbean, and Deep Creek, MD (rent a large ski chalet) have us planning the next trip.

    Only limit is vacay time.
