According to Google maps, it is about a mile walk (Koval to Harmon) from EI to Hard Rock. But it cautioned to say something about beta maps, maybe sidewalks missing, etc.

    1) Is is even walkable?

    2) Most importantly is it safe? bad neighborhood?

    3) We will be walking around 7:30pm or 8pm

    Thanks

VERY walkable and most of the walk is along vacant property if you go Harmon to Koval... you could also go the other way Paradise to Flamingo to Koval (if you go that way, you might check-out Terrible's and Tuscany too). I recommend that way as there's more to see and the walk seems to go by faster.

Either way is well traveled by cars and well lit. There are the ocassional "ner do wells" who walk around the area lookin' for a hand-out, but I've never once thought I was in a bad situation.

also a HR shuttle from the strip?

I read also there is a free shuttle near MGM to the HR, if you are in the area of the MGM. Can anyone verify this? Thanks. Just in case you don't want to walk a mile, then back a mile if going back to the Strip. We plan on the Terrible's and Tuscany walk, due to wife going to the Westin Spa on Flamingo.

I'm pretty sure that shuttle doesn't run anymore. At one time, they had a shuttle that went between the Hard Rock and Fashion Show Mall, but I'm not sure if that's even still available. It had very limited hours from what I remember. I couldn't find anything listed on their website about the service when I just looked.

As you leave the EI you turn rt. to flamingo and make a rt.and walk till you hit Paradise and make a right, there is Terribles across the street and a gas-quick shop on you right and you will hit the hard rock in a few minutes walk.

I'd sure hate to get off at The Stardust stop... it'd be pretty lonely!

It appears that spammywebsite may need some up to date info.

also I would be wary of a link to "spammy website" ?

Just trying to be helpful. To be clear the website was not "spammy website" it was called vegas hotel special. com and was apparantly changed when I transferred it here.

Called the HR casino.....They said the only shuttle they have runs to the Fashion Show mall from the HR, from 10 am to 5 pm. 1-800-473-7625. ( I didn't see the Stardust mentioned, however I did like the movie! ).
