Because of VMB, I decided to visit Cosmopolitan's casino to try their $100 offer, and if after signing up for the card, I lost $100, they would reimburse in Identity Play. So, what have I got to lose?

I take my $100 and I go to a 5x pay dollar slot. Bet the three dollar max. Nothing. Bet it again. Nothing. Hit it the third time, and boom! Six hundred dollars! Pretty sweet.

I would love to hear about other people's experiences with this offer. Wish there were more offers like this throughout LV!

My whole December trip the only time I went into my pocket was for the first $100 at Cosmo. After losing, on the freeplay, I hit quads for $400. That was followed by an insane run of quads, a $150 hard 4 bet, 2 #17 hits on roulette, one for $2,700....ans eventually got up to +$7,300 on that initial $100 stake....

I didn't score a big $1000+ win like some others, but I did make full use of the $100 offer. I played $5 video poker and hit a couple of good hands. Over the course of 4 days I took about $300 in "small" video poker wins. Then, when I finally lost $100 on day 4, and got my free play, I turned that free play into $130. All in all, felt like I was stealing money.

I tried to get my friends (low rollers) to do this offer, and I think they were scared off by the $100 potential loss. Even after explaining they probably wouldn't lose much, if at all, they still weren't buying into it. I couldn't believe it. This is the BEST deal in Vegas if you ask me.

We went last year with another couple. Out of four of us two of us won $300 with our reimbursed money, one won the first night and quit. He lost his $100 the next day and also him reimbursed money. He could have cashed out something but just kept going until it was gone. Don't remember what the wife did but not a big winner. Out of the four of us we made around $200 per couple on it. I had a $5 wof spin that could have been big money but didn't realize that the machine wasn't being max bet.

I played $100 at $5 slots, hoping for a big win. When that did not materialize I turned my FP into $90 playing VP.

We brought my Mom who isn't a gambler to Vegas last year. She made two wagers - a $50 winner in the derby (a match bet / horse vs. horse bet, the favorite who finished second over another horse out of the money) and this offer. She also lost the $100 "going big" on a $5 slot, and then won back $85 on $1 video poker with my assistance. She ended the trip a winner!

Wished one of us parlayed it like BeeJay.

I did better on the Tropicana promotion, winning over $100 more than I bet via a quad and other nice FP VP hits.

The website says it expires March 31, 2013 (although they have extended it a few times already).

In March I signed up and put $100 in a $1 slot and bet $5, within a few spins I hit for a little over $100 and I doubled my money and left

Went back in Oct and lost my $100 very quickly. Got the FP loaded and won around $80 if I remember. Nothing to great, but an awesome promo. Like the previous poster said, the best casino deal in Vegas.

I have taken about 10 people there over the promotion

I think 3were losers and 7 winners. Best was my Dad took him three trips to lose his initial 100. I think he ended up bout 300 best other story is a winner about 150 others won less than 50. I lost about 20 worst a friend of mine who
Lost about 50. Good promotion will continue taking players there as long as they keep running it.

Thinking if somebody is afraid of a potential $100 loss, Vegas might not be the best place for a visit.

    Just sayin.

So if I loose my initial $100, I get $100 loaded on my card? Then I can only cash out after I have 'coined in' (cycled through) that $100, right?

Message boards really do need a simple "like" button, like on facebook. You are so right. If one is afraid to lose $100--Vegas probably not a good place to vacation.

Between hotel pools, cheap drinks and free early entrance for women at most clubs, lounges and bars....vegas is a great vacation that can be done with less than a hundy for a 4 day weekend. That's just the low roller in me. :) I LOST it both times I did iit on 5 dollar slots, once for me and one for sis, and got my hundy back on fp for her and 3 hundy on mine using it on quarter and penny slots.

Mine was nothing exciting. Lost the $100 cash on a $10 Top Dollar machine ($20 a spin). Took the freeplay to a $5 VP and told myself I would cash out with whatever was left after the 4 spins. Ended up with $150 so made just $50 overall. I actually stuck to my plan which never happens but we were literally just passing through Cosmo on our way to the strip so just wanted to get out of there. After grabbing a slice of the secret pizza of course....

Come on....really? Including food? And I thought the drinks at clubs were expensive - what's the rest of the story?

Have you read any of her TRs? She's the one who literally bought in to a $3 blackjack table for $6. That had to be one of the most unintentionally funny things I've ever read in a trip report. :)
