I am getting good offers from both MGM Grand and Aria - and in planning an upcoming trip would like to book a few nights at MGM under one offer followed by a few nights at Aria under another offer - hopefully with Freeplay from both.

Is this kosher from an MLife perspective or do they require a cooling off period after any comp-ed accommodation redemption?

I have done the back to back offers with them in the past. But I had to forfeit my free play at both properties to do so.

The only way I have been able to stack now is to book a corporate offer at, say, Mirage and call my host at Bellagio. The Mirage gives me my $200.00 and the host at the B just gives me a room.

Too many people were booking back to backs just to get the free play and not even stepping foot in their rooms so it ruined it for everyone.

I am a master at doing this on all my trips to Vegas to get max freeplay. Good thinking on your part.

What you need to do is book with a host; they are the only ones who can over ride the 72 hour rule. However it will only work if you have a good relationship with your host, or they know you will meet their play requirements.

Thanks everyone. I am MLife Plat but no host relationship at the moment. I may call in and see what I can negotiate over the phone. No problem keeping my play at MGM properties if they come through - and I am planning on a trip to plunge me deep into Plat for this year.

I do have a Cosmo room comp though - and may do that for half my trip. But MGM will lose half my play on this trip if that happens.

    Penny wise....

    Thanks again -

These are called back to back.

Offers with stuff is almost never possible.

Getting the 2nd hotel, ROOM ONLY, is possible if you have good play.
