Saw this as soon as I logged on this morning and have been playing 1500 a spin and was getting absolutely crushed. Finally made back some but am still down about 80k so far. Really helps higher levels with the double xp. At one point I had something like 35 free spins in the matter of 2 minutes and won less than 20k chips total.

I still do best on Lucky Birds, playin 100 a spin for 100 spins and having it run in the background, then 200 if I have 3 bonuses or want to run through the bankroll more quickly, and 1000 for a few spins if I have 5.

However, if one of the expectations of offering these games is to promote slot play, I think they fail. I don't play slots in Vegas and I'm not convinced to start by MyVegas when I've run through almost 9 million chips and they just deplete themselves, even if I am lucky enough to accumulate 100,000. Without the daily infusions and friends gifts, I could not expect to be playing very long each day. I certainly would not want to play games set like these are set in the casino. or on line gambling opportunity.
but for a while, this seems like a fine deal. I guess once we reach higher levels the loyalty chip ratio to spins decreases enormously. So it is a short time deal as far as I see it.

I'm level 105. Play daily. Don't really do the friends thing. Studio city is the only game out of all of them that seems to pay out even semi frequently. The newer gmes (my and rtw) suck your child away trying to get a bonus. Still a fun way to "earn" free stuff in Vegas

Luckier than I am. I stopped at 200k down for the day. Though I'll probably burn through everything I have before I leave for Vegas tomorrow. Then while I'm there maybe log in on my laptop once a day to see what a buffet will cost me or to collect chips.

Then while I'm there maybe log in on my laptop ......

You may want to verify whether or not you can view the rewards on your laptop while you are actually in Las Vegas. Heard from another visitor that was there several days ago and due to the IP address in Vegas her account was treated as if a Nevada resident. Not too many rewards are available to "locals". She could not view any of the rewards she was hoping to redeem while she was there.

I logged in at the mirage business center and redeemed the Secret Garden on the 13th, no problems at all.

This game is killing me! I find it hard to believe these payouts are at 2X!!! I did way better on the Jules Verne game earlier this month. Count me OUT!

Payouts aren't 2x it is the experience. For those under level 58 I would not play as you start leveling very fast. Good if you are going to vegas soon and need the points for a reward but bad otherwise. Over level 58 it really helps as every 4th level you need over a million and others require almost as much.

I lost a lot on Studio City this weekend. I used to play it all the time but now moved on to Around The World. I did get to go up a few levels and I will say that I feel with the Studio City game you get alot of the "V" icons. I was able to get the MGM Grand pretty quick playing that.
