There's always a $3 shoe BJ table at Fremont and Cal. The Fremont also has a $3 craps table and I've sometimes seen $3 craps and BJ at El Co.

The California Club has a six deck three dollar table back by the escalators. You may also want to check the El Cortez. Occasionally, the Spike will have a low limit table...however, the tables there aren't open 24/7. Have a great trip!

As others have said, there are many $3 tables downtown. My favorite is still the El Co, double deck game. Great drink service.

Just don't press your bets to $10, they will kick you out.....:wink2: El Co has to have some of the most nervous pit critters around.

You will find a few downtonw but there is hardly ever a seat at them.

Pony up the extra $2 and you can play in comfort.

    Thanks everyone for your wisdom!

FYI -- i'm not against a $5 table, but i'll play that we're i'm staying most likely. I appreciate any help in answering where the $3 tables are for those early mornings when I'm out stretching my legs and walking about

MOstly repeating 3 dollar BJ at ElCo, the Cal and FReemont....BUt adding, if you have a car...nearby "local" good 3 buck games are at Texas Station,Silver NUgget,Boulder Station,Arizona Chas.,Jokers Wild. Most of these local spots are "tourist" friendly and and have some great food deals.

Ain't that the truth! We had a few $25 hands at a $5 table and thought the pit critter was going to have a heart attack! He was acting verrrry concerned, but as for "heat," we had to fight real hard to keep from laughing. When cashing out, the cage had to call the pit to see if things were "Kosher." The El Co has good rules, but between the pit and the non-English speaking rookie dealers (lots of mistakes), I usually prefer playing elsewhere.

I had no trouble with this in March. I played the $3 two-deck shoe game at the El-Co, with a base bet of $10, ranging up to $30, and backing it down to $5 on negative counts.
No heat...at least , none I could detect.

I agree 100%. And if you go sit down at one of the few $50 or $100 tables, the pit boss comes and watches every single hand. He will stand right behind the dealer and stare you down. I have never had anyone sweat me like that before. It was like they were trying to make you uncomfortable.
