Is there any site that tells the various going-ons at the hotels? I was looking at possibly staying at Caesar's Palace the second week in July, but the rates seem to be through the roof! I don't want to stay there that bad, I'm just curious what may be going on there during that time. I'm guessing some kind of big convention or something?

For example a Roman Tower room:
    MON 07/08/13 $175.20
    TUE 07/09/13 $279.20
    WED 07/10/13 $479.20

Just checked the convention calendar for your time period...nothing big during those dates.

Could be that you are in a strange time line period too far out but not far enough. Book something refundable and keep checking.

I agree. That is aways out. They will go down the closer you get.

Not trying to hi-jack this tread but what about rates for May Long 15-20? Looking at various properties, booked in at the Flamingo...but open to trying something new.

Is this the right time frame to be looking or too early to see the best prices.

FreedomFest is a Caesars during that week in July.

(It's been at Bally's in years past, I believe.) The theme this year is "Are we Rome?", so I guess Caesars sort of makes sense.

Their convention rates seem mighty high to me, so we're staying elsewhere.

Thanks! That's a great link to remember :)

Aha! I would have never known. Thanks for the info. Maybe we'll stay at Caesar's next year
