I just returned from Vegas, 2/10-2/14.

If you are staying in a Fab King room you will be facing The Linq construction. They did warn us, and say that all the Fab King rooms face construction. Also, no major construction on Bill's as of yet.

Construction crews arrive at 6AM, Quad outside bar stops playing music sometime between 12-2AM.

I am a heavy sleeper but it kept or woke my wife up each day that we were there.

Are the fab 2 queens located in a different section?

What would have happened if you would have taken the issue up with the front desk? You say that they warned you, and I believe that, but what if your response was 'That's not going to work for us. What can you do for me?'

The Queens face the pool or LVB.

They asked it in a way that implied they would have moved us if we had requested it. Now the casino wasn't very busy (for Vegas standards), I don't know what would have happened come the busy season when the hotel was near full.

Any news how the noise is on the fab deluxe rooms are and the go deluxe and the go luxury strip view. I can upgrade for 20.00 to the go deluxe or 30 for go luxury strip view. I am only staying one night then moving to a mirage tower suite for the other 3 nights I am there. It is almost a no brainer to upgrade for 30 to the go luxury with view, but if it is noisy there from construction, then I dont want to pay extra for noise.

i stayed at quad harrahs and flamingo all this year and no noise problems ,i did call or walk over before to checkin to make sure there where no problem but being a diamond player they made sure my room was quite and i slept with no problem but yes i was told construction starts at 6 am

ps just walked by bills no noise yet there,my suggestion is get at room facing ballys or the strip is your best bet
