Coming up for me: A 6 night trip in Vegas. Hotels: 1 night at The Four Queens, 5 nights on The Strip. I really prefer downtown, so I'll probably be downtown on Fremont more than 1 night...

I keep reading about the Chicago Brewing Company at The Four Queens. Truth be told, I've never been upstairs at The Four Queens.

From what I've read, the Chicago Brewing Company offers video poker at the bar. So, some questions...

    1) VP at the bar? Are drinks comped?
    2) What can I expect for paytables? Any full pay? I usually play JoB, though I dabble in BDlx and BP and once in a while DB/DDB.
    3) Good microbrews on tap?

As a point of comparison, I *LOVE* the Boar's Head bar at Main Street Station... Full pay VP, a variety of microbrews on tap (comped), and even the scratch card promotion. Is this place similar?

If it matters, I usually stick to quarters ($0.25) playing max credits... Rarely do I dabble in dollars, but I might do it on occasion. (Yes, I am quite a low-roller.)

    Thanks for your responses.

I know the beers are comped at the bar as long as you are playing max credits, but most places never check. I am not sure on paytables as its been awhile since I have been up there. I am sure others on here will answer that fairly quick though! Also the microbrews are very good up there, but MSS is better imho!

Just got back from three nights at 4Q over the weekend, and we always frequent CBC quite a bit.

As was mentioned, the brews are comped. They have a nice IPA and a good red ale. Didn't try the porter--not my favorite.

Paytables: DDB 9/6 and DB 9/7. Usually have great luck there and all over the 4Q, but didn't as much this trip. Fortunately, I hit pretty good at the Cal and the D, upstairs.

Say hi to Kimmie at Brew Co!

Love both of these bars. Chicago Brew Co. offers several tables with cool views of the casino floor, but you are facing the opposite direction while sitting at the bar. Kind of cramped too.

Boar's Head had the most strict drink policy we encountered downtown last week ... Max credits or no free drinks, no questions. That being said, Jose was not working and might have been different otherwise. Couple salty wenches in his place.

Our favorite spot ended up easily being the Long Bar at The D. Simply the best atmosphere, the bartenders were awesome and we were basically allowed open bar with any level of play. The hospitality, low limits and quality of free drinks more than made up for the less than perfect pay tables. Oh yeah, I did hit 4 aces and a deuce here, so that helped too

I really like the atmosphere of the 4 queens VP bar (minus that there is only don't know for sure but less then 10 VP terminals) but I find myself back at the MSS b/c I think their beers are just that much better. could just be me?

I only went to the brewpub at 4Queens once but remember their beer being kind of tasteless. Not bad, just nothing good.

I'm curious also. Krystal is the only female I can think of, besides Kelli of course.
