Astros very possibly could set a major league record for losses this year, I wouldnt be afraid to take them under.

Twins cant be as bad as they were last year, interesting take with them over at 64.5

New look Blue Jays look quite tempting over at 86 1/2.

Orioles definitely over, that looks like the surest bet of the lot.

Jays over, cant wait for the first meaningful baseball in August in years.
Orioles under, they were an anomaly last year.
Yankees under, old and broken down.

You would have to have a lot of patience for this kind of bet but would be fun going into September if you still had a shot.

    AL East
    Jays
    Rays
    Yankees
    Orioles
    Red Sox

as much as I'd like to take the Jays with the over, I'm still not convinced:

    -They lack a closer
-the bottom three of the order are below average at best
-How will Melky be without the PEDs??
-Bautista says his wrist is healed, but that still remains to be seen.

I hope I'm wrong and they win the East.

Isnt closer the most over rated position in baseball?
apparently statistically a closer doesn't matter. 2nd best rotation should mean they wont need a deep bullpen., plus santos is ready.
Even with Melky regressing 50 points he would be a huge asset.
The Jays do still have question marks as you point out, but their question marks are not as big as the other teams in the AL east.
Jays loading up while the traditional power houses are regressing is excellent timing by AA.

The starting pitching and infield is not bad. It's the outfield(Duda, Nieuwenhuis and Baxter) and back of the bullpen(Parnell/Francisco) that is scary.

Still think they can win 77 games-I'll stick with my over.

I think that's a good call... especially Dodgers. They think they've got some good pitching, so maybe, but I'm not convinced.

    GO GIANTS!!!!
