I've read about Fat Tuesday and can't wait to try a half-yard drink! Does anyone know how much they cost? I've searched the forum and Google and can't find out. Thanks!

I cant say for sure, but I am guessing anywhere from $20-25 at the low end. I know downtown at La Bayou they are around $18 now, just 6-7 years ago they were like $10-12 each. I believe you do get a discount when filling them up though!

My wife will drink one or two of these per trip.

The going rate is around $18, but some places will charge more and some a little less - largely depending on location, if they are a franchise, what kind of drink vessel it comes in. At some places you can even pay extra to have more alcohol mixed in to your drink.

If you are on The Strip you can get these at so many places as most casinos will have at least one "drink by the yard" place (as an example, I believe Paris has three of them).

Don't forget to keep it for the duration of your trip because refills are cheaper.

$18 and $15 refills??? Where are you getting these from? I was there last month and paid $13 for the initial fill with cup and $10 for the refill and even at Evening Call they are only $14 and $11 refills.

It really depends on where you are. As I mentioned above, Paris has three locations that sell these things, but all three have different prices (they are cheaper the further in you go).

And the places that just have the basic cup or big mug (like the one between Aria and Monte Carlo) are cheaper than the places that have the fancy shaped and styled bottles.

But a good point is: when you buy one of these you should ask if they do refills and how much they cost.
