Illicit Activity in the Bellagio Fountains

Has anyone ever seen an unauthorized person swimming in the Bellagio fountains? Did he escape? If not, how did the authorities get him out? Did he get blasted by one of the fountains?

(I use only "hes" because I figure only a man is dumb enough to do it.)

 

I saw this once on that vegas strip reality show. I think they used the maintenance boat from bellagio to get the guy out.

 

i saw a guy but he was just right by the edge and got out before getting caught.

 

When you say illicit activities, are you talking about people just being in the fountains (which I've seen a couple of times) or a couple actually boinking in the fountains (haven't seen that yet)?

 

Ha - any type of unauthorized access to the fountains. I was trying for an eye-catching title...

 

I was just going to say, I just saw this on the Vegas cops reality show... some drunk kid in there, the water was much deeper than I imagined it, it came up to about his shoulders or neck. I can see this being pretty dangerous if drunk people were actually in there.

 

2 Trips ago I saw a bunch of drink kids in their 20's making some noise by the fountains so I went over to see what was going on. It was like 3AM and some chick stripped down to her bikini and jumped in the lake. She swam around for like 30 seconds and then her buddies helped pull her out and they ran down they strip and never got caught. It was pretty hilarious, I remember telling her to avoid the jets cause it would be one nasty enema.

just do a search on youtube. you will see a bunch of them. Not the fountains, but one of my favorites is an Aussie girl swimming in the Venetian canal.

 

Seeing someone getting blasted in the air by one of the erupting jet fountains would make my day...

This could be a nice addition to a bucket list.

 

At about 11pm on a Friday night a Irish kid in his 20's did a flip in front of a huge crowd, from the left side. I know he was Irish because i helped pull him out. It was awesome, place went nuts - he didn't get caught.

 

Does this count?

 

I just watched an episode (had it on my DVR) I was surprised how deep it was. Bunch of UCLA kids on spring break.
This guy couldn't touch bottom and the cops weren't sure he was going to make it to shore. Was getting pretty winded.

 

OMG, I'm sitting here laughing so hard I can barely type!

 

Not to hijack this thread, but speaking of illicit and enemas..has anyone seen this video of the guy crapping off the MGM sign? Not sure if I can post a link to the video, since it's so gross. It's on youtube though.

It is certainly not of the same magnitude as the Bellagio Fountains but I once swam a lap in the fountain next to Cafe Du Monde in New Orleans during Mardi Gras.

 

I can't imagine being on the sidewalk as this came crashing to the ground.
