What pizzes you off more, someone who can't even reach three-quarters of the way down the table or one who constantly throws them off the table???
I was at the Borgata a couple of weeks ago and was getting both of those! Arrgh!!

Off the table, because that slows things down more (and even worse when they keep calling for the same dice!)

Just got home from the Borgata, and the most annoying thing that gets me is on the first roll after my buy-in the guy shooting is first stick right and is on a good roll, three points made and both my 6 and 8 are pressed to 300. So after one roll he is arguing over 5 dollars on a horn bet with the dealer, while the dice sit there. Two rolls later he is again arguing about this bet should be 10 dollars more as I pressed it and this one should be 5 more etc. My thoughts on this are I would rather win 10 dollars by continuing a hot roll than lose 20 by holding up the roll by arguing with the dealers over 5-10 bucks when your making passes and collecting money on each toss. Needless to say seven out the very next toss.

This to me is like a train coming at you, you see it, you know its gonna splat you and the only thing I can do from now on is take down my bets, as this happens a lot. More annoying to me than dice going off the table or whatnot. I try, the few times I am on a decent roll, to never argue presses or payouts unless the errors are significant and then I just try to move on as quick as possible so the roll can continue. I know it has no bearing on the next roll, but the positive mojo of a heater never fails to die off after a delay for one of these silly reasons, so I am superstitious.

^ I've also seen this a lot. The shooter is on a super hot roll yet people continue to hold up the game arguing petty bets. Keep the dice fast and moving. It's bad enough the house tries to cool off a hot shooter with their various methods.

But to answer the question, for me it's always the shooter not reaching the back of the table. I am strictly a Don't better, so when I see a very weak roll and the shooter hits their point, I always expect the dealers to call it a no roll. ;)

Off the table, no doubt. I don't really mind short rolls, because it is at least a roll. I want the game to keep moving

Anything that slows the game down. Dice off the table, people buying in in the middle of a point...people who are late getting their bets down. A bad dealer who can't get payouts right.

That's what I hate. And that's why I don't play craps in colorado even though they have $1 tables with 25x odds.

I hate when people buy in during a hot roll it always seems that their hands are in the table when the dice are in air.

When the table is cold the dealers somehow are able to handle your buy-in while keeping the dice moving. It's amazing how fast they can get the chips to you.

Yet when the table is experiencing a hot roll a buy-in essentially stops the game. I've also seen the pit deliberately have a chip inventory count when a shooter is hot. They do all this to slow and cool the shooter down.

There's not much one can do at these times. It's their game and their casino.

I don't blame those who want to buy-in on a hot table. They want to play too and being there when the table gets hot is everyone's dream. Next time we might be the one who buy-in while the table is hot and irritate some people.

Now getting their frickin hands in the way is another story....:Þ

On the other hand, if I'm losing and I just want to get my hours in to cover my comp room, by all means, throw the dice the length of the casino!

On a nice long hot roll and someone walks up and dumps cash on the table. Then they have to nerve to not even bet. Why couldn't they wait until the end of the hand if they're not even going to bet!

Trying to sqeeze-in, and the only spot available is next to the shooter because we all gave them room to throw the dice on the heater. Everybody looks like what the f--k! is he doing!

I hate crappy dealers. To the point that I now never play in any of the lower end joints just to avoid the majority of the crappy dealers. I don't want to have to count my payouts to make sure they're correct, and I don't want to have to watch every move and watch them place every bet I make to make sure it was done properly. To that point, I'm not sure why anyone would have a problem with another player wanting to be paid correctly on his/her bets. If the dealers were good at their job, it wouldn't be an issue.

Craps isn't like BJ, where any schmuck who can count to 21 can deal it. It's a lot more complex math, and you can have 8 people's bets to keep track of and pay out. Therefore I have a lot more appreciation for really good dealers, although at the same time I have very little tolerance for incompetent ones. I especially hate the dealers who want to argue with you over bets.

Very little bothers me because I'm in Vegas to roll the dice and have a good time. It's funny how dice hit hands and it's a 7-out... and it's funny how dice hit hands and it's a hard-six... the point. Funny how "it's all good" when the dice are rolling what you want. Things that involve dice rolls usually don't bother me, unless the game is senselessly slowed down by countless bounces off the table.

What really bugs me are grumpy dealers or players. Players come and go, but when dealers could just care less to be there or give you the cold shoulder for no good reason... that's irritating (or at least a downer!) I avoid a few dealers at the Golden Nugget for that very reason.

On the contrary, I find that new dice are a guaranteed 7-out! Same dice is the only way to go.

I find that when I play same dice, I tend to throw a seven about one time in six. I find that when I play new dice, I tend to throw one about 16.67% of the time.
