MyVegas rewards reloaded

just an FYI, as of now (11:55 am EST), there are a bunch of the most popular rewards available after having been reloaded.
Bellagio lunch buffet, along with Zarkana and Love tix.

 

Im trying for the steak house at Circus Circus it is alwayssold oout. notgoing to vegas untill Aug. I so hope I can get it.

 

So what is the most reasonable strategy for redeeming rewards? How far back from the dates of the trip should we start? Do they all have the same lifetime or do some expire early and others late?

If I don't really have firm dates, but know that I want to go in a certain month, should I redeem and then wait to book the particular dates to use the hotel freebies?

 

Start trying to redeem for a reward that you want 90 days or less from the time you plan on using it, with the exception of hotel or show rewards. With those, you have to call to book your room/show ticket within the same 90 days, but, it appears, you have a 6 month window for the reservation.

BTW, just checked at 8AM Vegas time this morning and they had more than the normal allotment of some hard to get rewards still available.

 

Thanks for that information. Very helpful. This is all new for me and hard to trust since the deals are just so good. I'm happy that what I see is what I get.

 

They seem to be reloading them at different times of the day ...and more than once a day. DH couldn't sleep and was on the computer at 2 am EST Fri morning, he grabbed the coveted 2 night Mirage Tower Suite....this morning at 9 am EST I was able to grab it. Bellagio buffets were up there this morning also. All last week I never saw reloads until 10 am EST. No rhyme or reason right now. Still over 90 days out so I can't grab my Bellagio Buffets yet. As soon as SW has a sale I can live with, I will book my Mirage suite for 4 nights total. Hoping no problem with our dates, the 4 nights we want as of now are some of the cheapest to pay for....won't feel safe until I call and get our nights booked.

 

they reloaded plenty of pretty much everything this morning around 7am pst. First time ive seen the Mandalay Bay rooms available and all the mirage suites and cirque shows were available too.

 

Almost 11AM here and rewards still haven't been reloaded. I'm waiting on the Nine Fine Irishmen comp.

 

I was able to get the Bellagio lunch buffet. Surprised it was available.

 

When i logged in this morning at 9:20 PST things had been reloaded. Although they may not be doing everything at the same time now. I noticed all the Cirque shows had plenty of tickets left at midnight last night. Those are usually sold out well before then

 

Maybe they're staggering them now. Nine Fine has been sold out for a while.

 

They're still being reloaded on schedule. I grabbed Nine Fine Irishmen this morning. Bellagio buffet was reloaded as well.

 

Dang. I was on there around 10:20AM Eastern and it was gone. I must have just missed it then.

 

Yep, I grabbed Bellagio buffet this morning around 10:45 ...

 

Best i start checking on the dot then!! 8am Vegas time is 4pm here in the UK, i always kept checking for reloads at 3pm! doh!

Trying to get the Bellagio buffet and the NYNY food credit!

 

Anyone know if they actually reload the Luxor 2 night unlock daily? (the 42,500 point one?) I'm trying to get enough points so I can score 2 of these for my next trip.

 

I can't check since it's currently sold out but almost all, if not actually all, of the rewards are limited to one per player (so you can't get two of the same reward).

 

So I couldn't score a room one day then score another a few days later?

 

Correct. The 2-night room is limit 1 per player. But you could get the unlocked 2-night room along with two of the 1-night unlocked rooms to do the same thing. The 1-night unlocked Luxor room is limit of 2 per player.

 

OMGGGG I finally got the 2 night MBay suite this morning! Had to check right at 10am EST and was reloading the page until they came up. It said "4 Left Today" when I got them and it was 10:01am.
