MyVegas Today only - Double XP on two different games

In honor of Jules Verne's birthday, myVEGAS is currently running a promotion where you get DOUBLE XP (points towards leveling up) on the Jules Verne and Around the World in 80 Plays games. It cuts the "coin-in" required to level up in half, really good for those of us who are over level 100.

Have you noticed if you get the loyalty points any faster? Or just XP toward levels?

 

It's just the XP towards leveling up, which every time you do level up you get a LP bonus. So technically you're still earning LPs twice as fast. At last with one aspect of the game.

 

Did I read somewhere that LP's are harder to earn at higher levels? Between my wife and I we are on level 90 and 94 and I think there is a threshold in the low 100's where LP's accumulate slower at lower bets. Can anyone confirm or deny that?

 

The one guide I read said that 1000 chips per spin accumulates at 10LP per 11 spins, starting from 58 onward. I havent heard anyone mention that changing any time after that.

 

you might get double xp, but it drained my chips today at about 10 x's the rate. Down 535,050 chips betting 1000 per spin. Ouch. It did take a lot of the day to drain it (about 3 hours, but that is still fast I thought)

 

What's the key to earning 500k chips?

I hit a 500,000 jackpot on birds awhile back. Then just play birds at 1000 per spin since then. Go to the hotels many times a day to collect chips and have a lot of friends and gift them and recieve gifts. Click on as many big chip links as you can. I also played bj some and got on a good run betting 10K per bet and earned about 200K that day. But now it doesnt matter because one day trying to play a new game because it was double XP has drained my stack. Back to the grinding.

 

I leveled up twice thanks to the promo. I burned through 100K in chips to do it. They need to keep having promos like that because it's the only way I would play those two games!

 

I managed to jump up 3 levels (and a tier) playing Around The World today, but I burned through about 400,000 credits.
At this point though, I'm not too concerned about running out of coins though, I've only got space for one more reward for my March trip, and theres no more rewards that I have an interest in.

 

I got 5 or so levels today and made some chips. Was betting 1,000 a spin then moved back to 200 a spin when I started building Aria at level 48. I was glad I was able to skip a lot of that play. Glad I saw this post, thanks. Got 44,000+ credits now. Can't believe I can get two nights at the Luxor if I want, just for playing a game for a week.
