    The Palms buffet is delicious.

I've never purchased anything from Travel Zoo. Is it just a voucher I print when I order online?

As an edit: According to LVA, the regular price of two dinner buffets is $42.00 not $52.00...still a bargain.

However, for $13.99 with a players card, one can also eat the Palm's dinner buffet.

There's also Restaurant.com certificate for it. I used it when we were there last November. It was a really great deal. They always serve their buffet with unlimited wine and beer so it's available all the time.

I love their crabs in Ginger Oyster sauce. They taste exactly like what I had growing up in Jakarta. Now, I'm hungry. :|.

And you just need the player's card to get the 13.99$ price? No play requirement?

I saw this deal yesterday and think its great, hell the unlimited beer and wine is worth it alone:beer:. My question is how far off the strip is the Palms? We are staying at the Flamingo at the end of March and is it walkable or better to take a taxi?

I'm wondering the best way to get to the Palms, too

Last year we took the shuttle from Bill's over to the Gold Coast and walked over. With Bill's being closed down soon, I'm wondering what's going to happen to the Gold Coast shuttle. Taking a taxi to the Palms would negate any buffet savings. The Palms is supposed to have a shuttle from the Fashion Show Mall but that's not very convenient as we stay more center/mid strip.

The shuttle stop is moving from Bill's to the North Flamingo entrance of Bally's on Janary 28th.

I don't remember too many specific dishes but know everything we tried was delicious. It looked like "dinner": lasagna, pasta w/shrimp, ribs, chicken dishes, etc.

The desserts had 3X the flavor as the ones at Main Street.

I walked to the Palms from the Strip once. Once.

You can also take the free shuttle from Harrahs to the Rio and the cross the street to the Palms. Thats what we do.
