Table Games do any Vegas casinos have this side bet?

    Was looking for any Vegas or even Nevada casinos with the bad beat
    blackjack sidebet from Olympian Gaming...

    I have not seen it anywhere. Definitely the MGM places weren't offering it lately...

    I can't say that I've seen it in any NV casinos but the Barona casino in San Diego has a side bet where if your 20 was beat by the dealer having 21 you would win the bet. The more cards it took to make the 21 the higher odds it paid. It was either a 6 or 7 card 21 would pay some monster $50,000+ progressive.

    Side bets should at all costs be avoided. The casinos would not offer them if they were not money makers for them. Why give the casino an edge in a great game like BJ where if you play perfect basic strategy you can play almost even with the house.:peace:

    For BJ I agree but for craps, LIR, 3CP, and any other carney game I would play the side bets.

    Some are countable with a higher return than regular counting, with less visibility.

    Aren't you already at a disadvantage since dealers stop at 17 anyway?

    Maybe I'm missing something.
