The price of NICE

I would like to propose a new rating system for all Vegas hotels.

It would be a luxury-adjusted cost per square foot ratio.

The Numerator of cost which would include both room cost and cost of gambling with a reduction for comps earned.

The Denominator would include size of room in square feet, with a multiplier adjusting for qualitative factors including room finish, resort amenities, cocktail waitress hotness etc.

I would include literally every possible reviewable aspect from game preferences to restaurant preferences in a database for every casino resort and then let each user customize their experience by picking the things they would use and ranking them in importance.

So for example, you would go to this website and pick the 7 things you are most looking for and rank them like this:

#1 Jacuzzi tub in room
#2 Free condoms in gift shop
#3 Plentiful hookers in bars
#4 Heavily chlorinated pool
#5 9/6 Bonus Deluxe
#6 Close to CVS with large ointment selection.
#7 Astroglide included with bathroom amenities.

Then the program would search the database of all hotels and rank each based on how well it fits your desires for a given price.

It would be like match.com but for vegas hotels.

I understand many of the qualitative items are opinion based and that building the database would be nearly impossible.

It's fun to contemplate though.

Somehow Beejay I think you'd like some of the hotels I've stayed at in China.

This was in the bathroom and considered part of the mini-bar.

Ya I remember a site where you picked 3-5 qualities you were looking for in a hotel and it gave you it's pick. It was pretty ghetto though and I don't think it was accurate.

 

Asian condoms wouldn't fit me, too small.

 

I thought it was a new tv show like "the price is right " :-s
