I like to eat pretty much the same thing at the same time everyday and it really messes with me eating out al lthe time in vegas.

I was just curious if anyone tales their own microwave.

I take my own coffee pot so i dont know if it would be an issue with the hotels or not.

You may be the first ,Cuz

I would check with the hotel, maybe they have them available for a nominal fee.
I dont know why they wouldnt let you unless theres some regulation about cooking in the room? If anybody looks at you funny when youre humping it up to the room just tell them ,Hey theyre giving them away free today didnt you get the mailer?

Seriously eating at my favorite places in Vegas is sometimes the best part of a trip.

Sorry, I don't know specifically about Vegas but when I travelled around country for work, I took microwaves into all the major hotel chains and had no problem at all.

I know a guy who carries a small electric heater when he travels, cuz he hates the noisy rattle-trap heaters that they usually have in motel rooms.

With a little clever placement and timing the in-room hair dryer actually works for heating or re-heating things..
Something someone I know who 'lives' at AC casino/hotels turned me on to.

Ever gotten to go food at the Rio deli? They put everything in brown boxes and the portions of Fries /onion rings are huge, even the sandwiches..I'm throwing that in the fridge now instead of throwing it out and reheating next day..or just throwing it in the room late night if you still want to play and they close at 11 pm ..
Position the dryer on low into the box and cover the openings with a hand towel basically making your own handy convection oven.Sometimes the dryer may overheat and that answers the question what those little red buttons are for on the electrical outlet :wink

Outside of Vegas, I forgot my laptop power cord in a hotel room once. I went back the next day and housekeeping already put it in the lost and found room. I got a glimpse of the room and was amazed at some of the stuff that's left in the rooms. I don't recall seeing a microwave but I did see a crockpot! I even saw a large flat screen tv! Guess someone needed plasma tv and stew.

What I take for the hotel room

I used to take a small pot to boil water for making hot tea. Now I take a instant immersion heater infuser where it heats up the water in the tea cup mug. A lot easier to pack.

I don't like to eat my left-overs in Vegas so I always have a sandwich cut in half and wrapped and I give it to the homeless in Vegas or to the people passing out flyers. I prefer to do that then throwing it away.

I am in the habit of packing a snack basket for my hotel room. Plus, I mostly eat at the buffets so I can pick and choose what I want to eat.

The Marriott hotels have micros and coffee makers, refrigerators in Vegas.
Those hotels are nice if you plan to stay a long time in Vegas.
I heard there is a Tower Hotel behind PH that has a small kitchen I think.

When I was in the Navy we would travel all over the place. The filipino guys would cook all sorts of stuff in their hotel rooms, fish, rice, all sorts of good eats. They brougt rice cookers and all that with them everwhere.

I am getting a small microwave next trip and taking it to see what comes of it. I drive anyway so its not like I am carrying on a mysterious microwave on a plane of anything.
