I just responded to a post in the Downtown Casino's forum and it just ran past the viewing page.
    https://www.vegasmessageboard.com/forums/showthread.php?t=87491
    Does anyone know
why this happens? I've seen this before on some trip reports and the only way to read it is to make the print tiny.
This is the second time it's happened, last time after previewing the post, I just retyped it and it came out fine. Is
there a setting on my computer that I need to change?

For this post I previewed and put in returns to force it to come out right. Anyone know what I've done to cause this?
    TIA

I clicked on the link you supplied above and the post looks fine. Fits into my viewing page like all the others do.

must be on your end, when I clicked on the link I could read all posts with the exception of yours just fine. Yours was too big, I have noticed this with other posters as well from time to time.

I too have the same results. I can read the other posts, but yours continue beyond the page.

You have two timers next to each others (usually the result of not putting in a line break between them). This can cause the page to be too wide for smaller screen sizes.

Some trip reports contain large pictures. If these images exceed the width of your particular screen resolution, it will cause the board software to expand the page to contain the image and will require scrolling to the right to view everything.

I've corrected your signature. Is it still happening in this thread?

Thanks everyone, it was really puzzling me. I guess is was the timer issue so thanks for straightening that out Sonya. I could have swore the first time it happened was a couple weeks ago before I had the timers up but maybe not. When I put the timers up, it said something about a three(?) line maximum so that's why I took the line out. I won't do that again.

Hmmm, I just noticed that according to my timers, I'm now only getting one day at South Point instead of two. I'm pretty sure I can fix that though. I'll change it back tonight.

    Thanks for your help!

It might have been someone else in the thread with two timers next to each other (I sure wish the board software made that easier for us all). Or someone posted an image that was too big. I try to clean them up when I find them, but feel free to let me know there's a problem in a specific post by using the Report Post Icon [IMG] in the upper right corner of the post.

It looks like your timers are set 1 day and 19 hours apart. You can adjust your arrival times to be exactly 48 hours apart to fix that. Let me know if you want help changing that.

I guess my timers are right as is, it just depends on the time of day I'm looking at it then. And thanks for the reminder of the Report Post icon. Funny how when you see something all the time, you forget it's even there.

It was my timers side by side - at least when I was looking at it on my laptop. On a larger computer, they appeared top and bottom. Anyhow, sorry about that mess. Thanks for getting me back on track.
